My manager lied and accused me of threatening her,accused me of swearing at her and security was called and i was escorted off the premises during a meeting regarding my performance.
I was suspended with pay while an investigation was conducted and the note taker,union representative wrote statements agreeing with my manager which was lies.
I recorded the meeting without letting my manager or the staff .
later I was called back from my suspension to a meeting to give my side of the story.I managed to convince the investigator to listen to the recording and he admitted that i was calm,i didnt swear,and i didnt sound agressive,and i wasnt rude
The investigator decided to issue me with misconduct despite the fact that the statements contained contradictions and contained lies which he acknowledged.
family members andd friends are telling me not to go legal because im just one person going up against a rich company who has lotd of money and can buy the best lawyers in the land but i dont see why they should get away with it so i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice
