'I have faith that God exists because it's comforting to know that I will live in a special place after I die here on earth, and those that believe in God will go there, while those that don't, wont.'
Why pretend your belief is any deeper than that, when it is all you actually say on here?21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years ago

I think it's a waste of money voting if the jury are so out of touch with the public.

point to a form of Obsessive-Compulsive behaviour, in that they are compelled to ask the same questions over and over because it makes the bad thoughts (blasphemous thoughts are common with religious sufferers) go away?
There are many examples;
How can atheism be rational as you can't prove god doesn't exist'?
How can a monkey give birth to a man?
Where are all the fossils?
How can atheists think Religion is worse than Stalin, Hitler Pol Pot and Mao, who were atheists?
How can something come from nothing/ who created the big bang?
How can life come from non-life?
Why don't we see evolution happen?
Are you ready to face judgement/repent?
You have seen many of these, worded slightly differently, but asking the same question. Whatever evidence is given to support answers, the smae questions keep popping up. I would welcome any observations on the psychology of this repetitive behaviour. Is this insecurity and a need for the validation of their faith from others; theists who confirm the truth of their belief, and atheists who confirm their status as skeptics and bound for hell?
Then what deductive reasoning can be applied to the question of whether God exists?
such as '2 + 2 = 4', and 'I am conscious because I am aware of it'.
What logical, dedcutive case can you make for God?
Beware of saying such things as God is beyond logic; That A) is itself a logical fallacy of special pleading, and B) is self-refuting, as you would not be able to come to that conclusion without using logic.
Answers from faith are inadmissible, as faith proves nothing.

From the question 'Atheists would it behoove..'.
'oh by the way you anyone has to be called by the HOLY SPIRIT you just cant believe in GOD just cause you try even if you try hard enough,
you do have to seek but and you can understand maybe GOD is blinding your eyes to HIM HE does that with some people as to why HE does that I do not know that is for HIM to know'
Analyse these ramblings of an addled psychotic.
If one is to even attempt to believe, and one is not called by the HOLY SPIRIT, then the blame should lay with the Holy Spirit for not acknowledging the attempt to believe, rather than the person who tries.
God blinds your eyes, but only he knows why, so just accept it, even if you never find god despite your best efforts.
Doesn't this rant refute theism; many attempts to believe in a god are futile, despite that believers' most earnest attempts. You must be chosen. And how do the chosen know they are chosen and not deluded? Do some christians deny that others are chosen? I'm pretty sure Thomas Aquinas and Roger Bacon would be rolling in their graves at what passes for theological thought these days. Tragic stuff.
In that it is an abnormal view of reality or state of mind, divorced from all attempts to demonstrate beliefs with evidence.
