Postulate - There can never be a realistic snapshot of the Universe
Assumption - Collapse of the Universal wave-function results in as-is, where-is, perception of the Universe.
Consider 2 scenarios -
1. A person views the Universe - This is highly subjective and influenced by cultural, socio-economic and religious factors. It is like watching the Universe through rose-tinted glasses.
Even in ancient civilizations this tendency persisted. The Egyptians were besotted by Sirius (Dog Star), the Indians by Dhruv Tara (Pole Star) and so on. These all point to a biased view of the Universe. (like a loaded dice).
2. The Universe looks at itself - Theoretically this is possible if we assume that the Universe has a sentient intelligence, a selfie taken of the Universe, by the Universe. However, given the transient nature of the Universe, it would never be perfect.
Conclusion - A snapshot of the Universe, taken either by a person, or the Universe itself, can only approximate reality, never quite get it perfect.
Do you agree ?
