My 23 year old son is waiting for his test results and is feeling almost completely better (except for a mold sore throat). The reason he thinks he has the virus is because his best friend tested positive and he had symptoms previously in the last couple of days.
But now he will have to quarantine for 10-14 days. Is he legally obligated to inform the hotel of his medical condition?
His roommate has asked him to move out and is frantically cleaning the apartment with Lysol spray.3 AnswersLaw & Ethics2 days ago
Let’s suppose that it is August 2021 and most Americans have been already vaccinated against the coronavirus. However, some Americans refuse the vaccination.
If a person gets sick and requires medical treatment for COVID-19, could an insurance company legally deny payment based on the person’s previous refusal to be vaccinated?Assume that the person does not have any valid medical or religious objections to vaccination. Also assume that the vaccine is available for free.5 AnswersPolitics5 days ago
In the first activity, there is a lot of yelling and screaming going on. And in the second activity, it’s probable that there will be singing going on for at least 20 minutes.2 AnswersPolitics1 week ago

With COVID-19 parties getting popular, why don’t pharmaceutical companies just hire these crazy teens to challenge test their vaccines?
A lot of young people are intentionally exposing themselves to the coronavirus because they think they won’t get sick or die.
Why don’t the drug companies give them the vaccine first and let them go through with their plans? That way we could say with certainty whether a vaccine actually works.3 AnswersPolitics2 weeks ago
Sometimes I deal with this exchange in an online course:
Student: “I can’t turn in my assignment because my WiFi is down.”
Me: “How are you logging into the course right now?”
Student: “I’m using the Canvas app on my iPhone.”
Me: “Did you try using a hotspot?”
Student: “No. What’s that? Do I need to call Verizon?”6 AnswersHigher Education (University +)2 weeks ago

Every day we’re getting about 60,000 new cases nationwide and according to the University of Washington, 1.3% of people who get the virus will eventually die.
Does that mean our daily death toll will be 780? Or is the death rate going to be much lower because more younger people are being diagnosed?9 AnswersPolitics4 weeks ago
I see comments on social media that “masks are for slaves,”
they offer absolutely no protection to others, it’s “involuntary servitude,” they are for “little shi*ts,” and if we comply, the next step is mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations in 2021.
If I had to wear a face mask all day long, it would be a huge pain in the neck. But wearing a mask for 10 or 15 minutes while I run into Walmart doesn’t seem like a huge sacrifice to make for my fellow citizens. Perhaps I lead a sheltered life because in my office, I am free to take the mask off. And shut the door. But the young guys who work at discount tire have to wear them for eight hours a day.13 AnswersPolitics4 weeks ago

The platform is for storing my small truck canopy, so it will be about 5-7 square and needs to support about 150 pounds. I’m thinking about wood screws, bolts & washers, or just joist.
I am totally flexible on the design, but here’s a rough example of what I’m looking at building. Obviously my dimensions will be totally different.6 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)2 months ago
The rules are that you can have one teleportation terminal in your home or apartment and then you get a pick the location for the second terminal. The selections are final. That means, for example, that if you pick San Francisco as your destination you can’t change your mind later on. So you would only be able to go back-and-forth between your home and San Francisco.4 AnswersPolls & Surveys2 months ago
I went for the free drive-through test a couple of weeks ago and the nurse put a cotton swab up in my nose to collect a sample. It wasn’t painful or uncomfortable at all. It just made my nose tickle.1 AnswerPolls & Surveys2 months ago

Second-degree murder is when a person causes the death of another person with intent to cause the death of that person (but no premeditation).
Can this intent be proven or is this a 3rd degree murder case?3 AnswersPolitics2 months ago
