  • Twitching near right temple? (cannot see a doctor atm)?

Can anyone explain why I have a twitch on my forehead near my right temple?

It's absolutely painless, doesn't cause discomfort, I just find it annoying, and it won't go away.

At first I thought it was triggered by stress, but I get it even when I'm not stressed.

    Can anyone explain?

  • Is 100g of protein enough to get me ripped???

    I'm 165lbs 5'10 and male 28y/o

I've been told to eat 1gram of protein per body pound.

I'm just eating over 100grams of protein, honestly can't eat any more than that.

    Will it be enough?

  • How can I get a 6 pack & get entirely ripped? I need advice please?

28 y/o male 5'10 I'm 12 stone, not fat or overweight. I have little bit of muscle, but it's not huge or bulky looking. I'm quite slim. I don't want to get huge or bulky like a bodybuilder, I just want to add to my slim frame.

I do circuit training with bodyweight exercises . It's a moderate to high intensity. I do cardio as well like skipping/walking.

My diet is good, I follow a pescatarian diet meaning I only eat plant based proteins & fish. No other types of meat or dairy allowed.

Is there anything else I should be doing to get ripped?

  • How can I get ripped/shredded? ?

I'm male 5'10, and weigh just under 12 stone.

I do a lot of circuit training with bodyweight exercises. Moderate/high intensity

I don't want to get huge. I just want to get a sculped physique, and definition.

I think what I'm aiming for is low body fat.

How much protein should I eat? What foods should I avoid?

  • Is tartar gum disease? ?

I had a spell where I didn't keep on top of my oral hygiene, and it resulted in bleeding gums, and tartar build up behind my teeth. My breath had a foul odour.

Now my mouth couldn't be healthier. I got it taken care of, and removed by my dentist.

No foul smelling breath, and gums no longer bleed.

    Was it gum disease?

  • I had gum disease, will I get heart disease in the future?

When I was 23 y/o I got gum disease for a few months, I let my mouth go, and stopped following my normal oral hygiene regime. I went to the dentist, and got it taken care of. My gum disease was gone, and since then I've stuck to a strict oral hygiene regime.

Every time I go to the dentist, check ups are perfect, and I take the standard offer of a polish & scale.

I'm 28 now, and I've been reading about oral hygiene, and it's links to the heart health. I read gum disease could potentially initiate heart disease.

It's not something I'm worried about, but could my bout of gum disease lead to heart disease in the future when I'm older??I have had ECG's and doctors listen to my heart. Cardiologist said that my heart was working well.

  • Can heart disease/atherosclerosis really be reversed??? ?

I read a book by Caldwell B Essellstyn, and he provides a diet, and evidence of angiograms where arteries have cleared up after following his specified diet for a number of years.

It seems really good, there's evidence which supports it, but is it really that possible?

  • Spine injury??

So 3 years ago, I was lifting something very heavy at work. When I lifted it, my I heard my back crack.

No pain at all, been 3 years on I've had no problems still.

But, I've heard you can have damage, and not have any pain.

I'm 29, will I have back issues in the future?

  • Coronavirus or Flu?

I'm a 28 year old male. So I had what I thought to have been flu back in February. I went to bed one night, and woke up the next morning, and felt shocking. My symptoms included; chills, congestion of the nose, bad cough, and generally unwell. A little bit of back ache, and chills up my back. I was shivering despite numerous layers at night time in bed.

By day 3-5 I felt like I was picking up a little bit. Then a few days later most of the worst symptoms had diminished. By day 9 I was left with the remainant of a cough, but not as bad nor worse. Then that eventually disappeared as well.

I thought it was a normal horrible flu, and that was the end of it.

Until coronavirus took a grip of the world in March, and a lockdown was implemented by all continents. This is when I began to question whether I just had 'a bad flu' or if I did indeed have COVID19. I'm not 100% certain, and I haven't tested for the virus, I see no point now as this was more than 6 months ago.

I think I may have caught it from my grandparents, they're in their 90s, but they got over the flu.

I had it no longer than a week, yet I never infected my mum who I live with nor did I infect anyone who I work with. Matter of fact there was only one person who got flu in March, and that was an guy I worked with who had asthma, and he recovered from it as well. I

t probably doesn't matter now, I cannot help but speculate.

    What do you guys think?

  • Is it possible to reverse damage from unhealthy lifestyle habits?

Ok I'm 28, over the last 10 yrs or more I've had some bad lifestyle habits. I smoked from the age of 16 - 20. I was going to the gym during that time, and was still pretty fit. I began training in martial arts. However by the age of 22 I started gaining weight through drinking in college. I was eating a lot of junk food, and take out, and I got very overweight. I started smoking again for a short while, but this didn't last very long.

I have started losing weight now, I've gone from 16 stone down to 13 stone. I'm aiming to get back to 12 stone. I'm going to give up alcohol, and starting working out again. I'm going to become pescatarian, and start eating more plant based foods.

Is it possible to reverse any damage that I've done?

I don't want to have a stroke or a heart attack in the future when I'm 60.

  • Getting ripped? How much protein should I be eating?

I'm trying to get ripped, I'm 12 stone. I don't want to build any more muscle, I just want to define what muscle I already have.

I workout, but I don't use weights, I do circuit training press ups, bench dips, squat thrusts, and burpees.

I'm pescatarian, so I only eat fish, and plant based proteins & vegetables.

  • Will I get heart disease?

I had a small amount of gum disease at the age of 23. I let my mouth go, but I immediately went to the dentist, and managed to get it treated. I'm 28, and my gums are healthy, and I follow a strict oral hygiene regime.

I've heard there's a link between gum disease & heart disease. Will I get heart disease in the future?

  • Pan fried sea bass?

So I was pan-frying my sea bass as usual for a duration 6-7 minutes. I did it skin side down, when it came to turning it, it was sticking to the pan, and it damaged the skin. The sea bass broke easily too. When it was served the sea bass wasn't cold, but it wasn't hot either.

I used the same pan, and amount of oil I usually use. Not sure WTF happened.

  • Fitness question. I'm male 12st 5'10 height? How much protein do I really need? I'm pescatarian?

I'm into sports, and I have a bit of muscle already. I want to get ripped, and have low body fat. How much protein do I need? I'm pescatarian, so my only main protein sources are: fish/seafood, eggs, nuts, beans, and lentils.
