1. Not living my life in fear: A lot of people are living lives that they don't have to be in because of fear. Most of us have stayed at places we didn't want to be or did things we didn't want to do, because oftentimes we feared disapproval or we were too busy worrying about what our family and friends will think of us. Plus we feel that we ourselves wont succeed. Usually when you get fed up or angry, you get bold and do things that you normally wouldn't do. Because of my experiences, I decided to take risks and challenged myself for improvement because I didn't want years wasted, being unhappy.
2. Not seeking validation from external sources but from God only: When people seek for validation and appreciation from others, it's not necessarily a bad thing. But at the same time its not good because once they get it, they have to stress themselves out and it becomes overwhelming trying to please everyone. One simple mistake can lose all validation and no matter how much you kiss up to people, they can always change. I seek validation from God because of His unconditional love and Him knowing all my faults. I seek validation from Him because I wanted to receive gifts that were beyond this world. I wanted to be so blessed to where other people would wonder how it was possible.
