I have been on a mental health treatment order for 24 months on an illness that i never had, but doctors refused to believe my story. I have paranoid schizophrenia and it has nothing to do with fear or feeling threatened. Lets just say that i got cyber bullied by my class mates and the police refused to believe me because i did not keep the evidence when the bullying took place online. Now the treatment order ended on April this year, and only because i told the doctor that "Yes i finally believe that i have an illness and that the medication worked". The truth is, i never took my oral medication, leave alone the injection that i was always forced to take, and stopped taking the oral for 18 months. The last time i recall taking the medication Olanzapine 10mg was on February 2013 then i never took it anymore. My doctor is unaware that i am off the medication, now off the injection too.
If i did have an illness i would have responded to the medication, but the medication made no change in my belief that i got cyber bullied. Those who cyber bullied me even told me their names, who were my class mates. They STALKED me and in Australia STALKING is a serious crime.
Should i now reveal to the psychiatrist that i never took the medication for 18 months? What will the psychiatrist do if i told them the truth? It would be ridiculous if they wanted to put me on the treatment order again for a concern that is not valid.
