So about a year ago I scrapped together $500, I payed for all the parts about of my pocket, and built the machine myself. Now my mom is trying to take control and constantly pissing me off by threatening to put a two hour maximum window on it. Now, since I built it and installed the OS and everything myself I'm the owner of the computer at the moment, but I know that if she has someone come over and reinstall the OS they can take ownership and give me a shitty, no access User account. I'm not gonna stand for this bullshit. It's one thing if she paid for it, if she built it, but she didn't. I get that she's my mother but this is taking it too far, she's restricting my freedom and nothing pisses me off more than that.
So that being said, how can I be sure that I never lose rights? I know that this is a really vague question but I'm just asking for random little tricks. My OS is Windows 10 btw, just upgraded a week ago from Win 7. This is really important to me, I'll fall apart if I can't fulfill my musical ambitions and live my geeky lifestyle, once the computer or internet access goes I get severely depressed. Because outside of this world I have nothing. I'll be heavily indebted to anyone who can give me advice, thanks guys ;P
