So I had a car accident and I believe I was at fault because the other party had green light. At the time, I had no insurance and other party called the local police and made a report. The police did not arrive, and the next day the other party went to the local police and made a written report. Now, their insurance company is calling me to ask questions. What should I do? Should I admit guilt and talk to the insurance company and pay them out of pocket? Or should I wait and take it to court? I do not wish to be involved in a messy situation such as attorneys. The other party had two witnesses, two passengers. I was only by myself. Should I call their insurance and just agree to pay out of pocket? Not sure what to do.
