Ben & Bryce's Mommy
Will you have your young childeren & babies get the h1n1 vaccine? My boys are 3yrs and 6months and I cannot decide? They have had all their scheduled immunizations and the normal flu shot; but I am concerned because this one is so new? Any thoughts?6 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago

My son will soon outgrow his convertible carseat. I'm partial to Britax because he has the roundabout now, which we absolutely LOVE.
I'm just looking for some personal reviews on either carseat. And I cannot find the maximum shoulder height on the Nautilus, If you know please let me know.

Hi, My son Ben is 2 1/2. I originally introduced the potty to him around 3 months ago. And I swear that boy learned to use the potty in less than a week. He even woke up dry in the mornings. It seemed to just click right away and he just got it. I was so excited; especially because I was due with his little brother Bryce anyday. He continued to wear Pull Ups because his daycare provider said she needed to see dry Pull Ups for at least 2 weeks before he would be allowed to wear undies to school. Now, before we started I did read online that I shouldn't began training if child is expecting a new sibling; but he just wanted to use the potty and I figured I couldn't say no...so we went ahead with it. This is what I'm thinking is the root of the problem. I am just wondering how to fix it. Because Ben now has little interest in going pee in the potty at home. Given he makes his poops in the potty 100%. I know all that I read, it's usually the opposite. And believe me...I am glad it's the poops that make it in. But making pee in the potty just progressively got worse after his brother was born. And now it's almost 0.
Also an important thing to know is while he is in day care (3 days a week) he goes in the potty (pee and poop) like nobody's business. Teacher has already told me I can put undies on him because he is always dry.
My mom tells me I should have him use the potty before we leave the house or go outside, etc. But the majority of the time he will throw a fit if I ask him to use the potty. And I don't want him to associate any negative feelings towards the potty so I have just backed off completely. And he still chooses not to pee in the potty, but poops. He'll even be busy in the back yard playing and come tell me he needs to go poop. We actually lost track of him for a few seconds at Grandma's (scared me to death) but we found him sitting on his little potty chair in the bathroom having a poop. Please any advice would be wonderful. I know he can do it because he did at home for 2 weeks and he has been peeing in the potty at school for like 2 months now. What is going on??? And how do I fix it??? Thanks for your help!10 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade ago
Im thinking about joining a program to help get me out of debt with care one. The debt management program. I will be paying back in full what I owe. Care one says they can get the interest cut back dramatically and all fees waved. I have read mixed opinions on this company; but actually mostly good. I wanted to get some opinions outside their forums though. Anyone have any experience and willing to share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance!1 AnswerCredit1 decade ago

So when we originally found out we were having another little boy we decided on the name Lucas, Lucas Lenard. After a few months my bf decided he doesn't like Lucas just because he thinks it sounds funny with his last name. Since then we have decided on Jacob (Jake). I do like the name Jake, but lately as my due date approaches I have been leaning more towards Luke again. Do you think a kid would be made fun of with a name like Lucas Lenard? Or does it sound good to you? THank you!11 AnswersBaby Names1 decade ago
My 2 year old son has always had soft poops. He has never had a "formed" poop to my knowledge. I never thought much about this until I was talking to his day care provider about potty training and she said:
Well, what worries me is his poops are still so mushy.
???? I am totally confused. Is it abnormal for a 2 year old????? I always thought it was a sign he had a good digestive system. What do you think?2 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade ago
