• Mercedes 203E W124, 1998 engine not holding?

Appears to start, reaches 1500-2000 RPM, then, after 3-5 sec, stops. Even holding the starter active will not prevent motor to stop. 4th time in shop, SAME problem! Always told "Fuel pump", "Fuel pump relay", but I can't find either in the car! Help!

  • Mercedes engine wierd start-up (when it starts!)?

When I start the engine, it goes to 1200 rpm, then starts oscillating from 1000 rpm to 300 rpm during several seconds, then simply cuts off. A problem with the "automatic choke", of the carburator? Car went to three mechanics, and NO-ONE found a definitive solution... Help!

  • Sometimes a window of "DOS" type (black bkg, white txt) appears for about 1 sec. WHERE does it come from?

I assume that is due to a "service" running in the background.

  • How to suspend execution until a response is made through AJAX?

    - Javascript gets the user window width and make an AJAX call to php - Php gets the width and save the variable in globals, and returns that value in a <div> How to WAIT for the AJAX response available in the <div> before continuing, so the global php value is set. (How to read the value in the <div> in php?)

  • 80 deg. bank, going down?

I live a few miles form an airfield, when there is a parachutism club. They use a Dornier (57?) for the drops. I see it 15 times a day (!!!), passing over my land. Today, I watched him going down to land, in a nearly 90 deg. bank - and going down FAST! How and why does the pilot do that??? (I have done 60 Deg banks (on C182), but that's about it!) show more

If I chaase him, he is back in 2 seconds and starts staring at me again. When I am in bed, he "sleeps" beside the bed, his head on the bed, looking at me! What is it?? What can I do??

  • Star-Delta switching using triacs schematics?

I need to design a star-delta motor switching using ONLY triacs controlled through opto-isolator(s). Can 3 triacs be driven by the SAME driver/source? TTL control -> one opto-isol -> three gates of three triacs... If you have an idea, send schematics to charlierjeanray@gmail.com. Thanks in advance!

  • How to calculate air flow (m³/h) ?

A smoke flue with an extractor at the end. Section: 40cm x 20cm. Anemometer measures: Top front 4.00m/s Top back: 3.70m/s Middle front: 2.45m/s Middle back: 3.50m/s Bottom front: 1.93m/s Bottom back: 2.55m/s How many cubic meter of air passes there per minutes/hour? Procedure to calculate it will be welcome!
