• If the primary goal of an executive is to increase the value of the organization?

how does ethics and governance play into their decision-making process?

• Help with physics questions please?

1.  At the instant a bullet (Bullet A) is being fired horizontally from a gun, an identical bullet (Bullet B) is dropped from the same height as the muzzle of the firing gun. Briefly describe the order in which bullets A and B hit the ground.

5. A softball coach throws a 1 kg ball horizontally to her player with an initial velocity of 40 m/s. The ball leaves her hand at 6 m high, and her catcher is 20 meters away.

A. What is the vertical acceleration, ay, in m/s2? (+ is for up, - is for down)

B. How long is the ball in the air?

10. An M-16 is fired from level ground at an upwards angle of 10 degrees with respect to the horizontal. The initial velocity of the bullet is 948 m/s, but because it is fired at a 10 degree angle, the vertical component of the initial velocity is 165 m/s and the horizontal component is 934 m/s. Ignore air resistance and the curvature of the earth in this problem.

A. What is the initial vertical velocity, vyi, in m/s?  (+ is for up, - is for down)

B. What is the vertical acceleration, ay, in m/s2? (+ is for up, - is for down)

C. What is the final vertical velocity, vxf, in m/s?

D. What is the height difference, Δy, between the point where the bullet is fired and the point where the bullet lands?

22. The mass of Earth is 5.972 * 10^24 kg, and the radius of Earth is 6,371 km. A 750 kg satellite orbits 35,800 km above Earth in a perfectly circular orbit.  What is the gravitational force on the satellite due to Earth?

• May I please get some help with these physics questions?

1. The mass of Earth is 5.972 * 10^24 kg, and the radius of Earth is 6,371 km. The mass of the moon is 7.348 * 10^22 kg, and the radius of the moon is 1,737 km. The centers of the Earth and the moon are separated by 384,400 km.

A. What is the gravitational acceleration due to the moon at the surface of Earth?

B. If an object is traveling from Earth to the moon along the line connecting the center of Earth and the center of the moon, at what distance from the center of Earth will the net force on the object due to the gravitational attractions of Earth and the moon be zero?

• May I please get some help? I'm struggling in physics?

A person sits on a frictionless stool that is free to rotate but is initially at rest. The person is holding a bicycle wheel (I = 3 kg*m2) that is rotating at 8 rev/s in the clockwise direction as viewed from above, and the moment of inertia of a person on the stool holding a stationary wheel (PWS) is 9 kg*m2.

36. When viewed from above, what is the direction of the angular momentum of the rotating wheel?

37. What is magnitude of the angular velocity of the PWS?

38. What is magnitude of the angular momentum of the PWS?

41. What is direction of the angular momentum of the system?

42. The person flips the rotating wheel over 180 degrees. What is the magnitude of the angular momentum of the rotating wheel?

45. After the person flips the rotating wheel over 180 degrees, what is the direction of the angular momentum of the system? Clockwise, Counterclockwise or neither

46. After the person flips the rotating wheel over 180 degrees, what is the magnitude of the angular velocity (in rev/s) of the PWS about the axis of the stool?

49. The angular momentum of a system only changes with the application of an external non-zero net torque; otherwise, the angular momentum of a system will never change.

True or False

Sometimes true, sometimes false, depending upon the system.

• Hebrews 10:19-25. What these verses mean to you?

19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Consider the effects of Gnosticism (the soul is good, but the body is evil; therefore, one is freed from the effects of the lust of the flesh) on today's society.

I was raised in a Christians household. Both of my parents were deep into Christianity, though they forced me to church when I was young, I hated it. I never understood church, and it seemed boring. So, my parents began forcing me into Sunday school every week. they were consequences for the kids who skipped. I used to be one of those kids, but I stopped being that I couldn’t resist the punishments. Being forced to go to church played a big part in my life becoming a Christian. But I came to truly know Jesus when he did a miracle on my father who was sick for a while. Doctors couldn t figure out what was wrong. But my mother never lost faith, we kept on praying and my dad was finally cured.
