  • Can you put Clear Comfort multi- purpose solution in the eye??? ?

I was cleaning out my car and got a ton a dirt in it. My eye was still very red and irritated after I rinsed it out with water. My mom always told me that saline solution can be used when flushing out the eye if something gets in it. So I went to use some of hers but it was actually the clear comfort multi purpose solution that I flushed my eye out with. I started to read the bottle and saw that it expired a year ago....(it was a new package that she never opened) I’m so stressed now I rinsed my eye out for 15 minute, but would this be harmful to my eye should I seek medical help??

  • Please help!!! Lump under my chin!!?? (It’s difficult to see a doctor right now) ?

I have had a small somewhat firm lump under my jaw, maybe a little bit smaller than a marble. Not on my jaw line but in the middle part of it, it doesn’t seem to move. I noticed it when I was maybe 12 or 13 and I’m 23 now so I’ve had it about 10 years. I brought it up to my doctor 10 years ago she felt it, and I think she said it might be a swollen gland and that it may get bigger if I get sick. It’s not painful and since it hasn’t grown I forget about it a lot. The only times it is slightly painful is when I’m sick or have a cough other than that I have no other symptoms. Obviously being older now it concerns me, I have  an appointment to see an ENT specialist, but with the coronavirus going on everything is taking longer to get in and see him. I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this and can ease my mind a little bit until I can see a doctor. Sometimes I feel like there is a lump in my throat or it can be hard to swallow but I don’t know if that’s due to my anxiety because I usually get myself super worked about my health. When I’m not thinking about it everything feels normal and I can swallow just fine.

  • Lump on right rib cage ?

Hello about a month ago I noticed a lump on my right rib cage. It’s located more towards the side of my stomach it’s soft and seems to be movable, and painless, it’s about an inch and has a sausage shape to it. When I first noticed it I went to the doctor and she felt it and said it feels like a cyst or lipoma, and scheduled me to come back in 3 months to observe it. Usually I get terrible anxiety when it comes to my health so when she seemed okay about it I left not feeling bad. I recently started to get nervous about it and I am going back to the doctor to get a referral for an x-ray, but I still have so much anxiety right now, and I’m hoping anyone can give me some sort of relief or if they have had a similar experience. Also about 2 1/2 weeks before I noticed the lump, I had a minor surgery done on my mouth, but I had to go back in and do it again so for five days my mouth was in so much pain that I was taking quite a few medications that were prescribed to me. They were ibuprofen, acetaminophen codeine (the stronger one) and amoxicillin. I was taking the ibuprofen and the codeine in the same hour because the pain was so intense. I wouldn’t say I was taking an amount that I can OD on, but more than maybe I should have. Could this medication possibly be a reason for this lump? It has changed in size, and it’s right over my rib bone.

  • Associates degree for transfer? Help!?

I recently graduated from my community college with an associates degree for transfer instead of the regular associates degree. I was fully prepared to transfer to a 4 year university which I was accepted into, but some things in my life have come up and I have decided to withdraw from school and not get a bachelors. I’m wondering since it was a a degree for transfer if it would now be revoked since I won’t be continuing? I also want to know if the classes I have taken would still be locked in if I decide to go back. I looked on the website and can’t find any info on this.

  • My depression and anxiety is becoming too much?

How have others dealt with depression, anxiety or other mental health problems when you feel completely empty and hopeless inside? I’ve tried talking to someone about it and it turned into an argument... It’s been so difficult for me to keep any sort of relationship and now I’m upset with myself for letting these problems I have completely take over my life. I know I didn’t give a lot of detail, but mainly what I’m just looking for is positive and helpful things to help me right now.

  • Doctor called for blood test results?

About 2-3 months ago I got blood work done and didn’t hear anything back. Now about a few days ago I got a call to come in to the office to discuss the results, when I was talking to the person over the phone I think she noticed that I was worried and she said the doctor said it wasn’t urgent, but she did give a time frame of when she wanted me to come in. Now I am freaking out, but I don’t understand why it’s hasnt taken months for them to just now call me back. I’m wondering if it seems like something extremely concerning, or anything else that it could be?

  • How does a psychiatrist appointment go?

I already asked this before but with my psychiatrist appointment getting closer I am getting nervous, and last time I got so nervous that I ended up canceling the appointment which wasn’t good because I wasn’t able to get a new one for months. So I am just wondering what can I expect and how would I explain everything because what I noticed when I was seeing a therapist is that I would get so scared to open up to them which was only hurting myself, so now I’m really trying to make sure I won’t do that when I see the psychiatrist. Just looking for any helpful tips

  • Actors resume?

Last weeked I filmed a scene for a short film, but the scene wasn’t so much meant to be used for the short film it was more so the director and writer can see the scene in person. It was about a 5 hour shoot, I’m wondering if I can still list this on my resume as a short film even though the short film isn’t completed, and they might not even use that scene

  • Dealing with OCD?

I have been dealing with bad anxiety and OCD for a few years now. This last year it was at its worst for about three months and then it got better and recently it has started up again. I don't necessarily want to go into a lot of detail about it because talking about it sparks up more anxiety but basically I have a lot of fears about almost everything. I can create things out of no where to worry about. I have been referred to see a psychrist but my appointment isn't in a few months, so I'm trying to figure out ways to deal with this until I can see the psychrisit. It makes me sad because I'm only 20 and I want to be excited about life but it's hard to do that when I am constantly worrying and having irrational fears. Sometimes when I try to leave the house it can take an extra 40 min to an hour to leave because all the compulsions I feel like I have to do. Just wondering if anyone has advice about this.

  • Extreme sadness?

So I know that it is normal to feel sadness when someone passes away. But basically i like to read, and I found these short stories online that I loved. I didn't know anything about the author at all I just liked her stories. I guess the author had her friend help her with some of the stories so hey shared an account. At the end of one of the stories her friend wrote Melissa (the main author) has passed away in a car accident and wrote this long thing about her, and she was also only 16. Now I wasn't so much sad because there wouldn't be anymore stories from her, but more so because she was so young. But the thing is I didn't know anything about her, I don't even know what she looks like, and I've only been reading her stories for a day, but I feel so sad, and I l started to cry as if I was super close with her. But I also have realized I get this way when hearing about something happening to someone on social media. I'm naturally an emotional person, but is this normal. And also the author passed away a few years ago so I just confused why I this sad about someone I don't know anything about, or don't even know what they look like

So today I met up with an old friend who I haven't seen in years. Of course I gave her a hug we talked, and got lunch. We got into a conversation and she told me she has herpes type 1. I didn't think much of it, I gave her another hug once I left, and now I am freaking out, could I have it. Were also starting to hang out again, and now I'm nervous to hang out with her.

  • what is the electoral college?

I basically know that its the body that selects the president, but what I am confused about is what is the point of having people vote if the person had more votes doesn t even win, because from my understanding Hillary had more votes then trump so I would think she would obviously win, but he had more electoral votes. Can someone explain more of what the electoral college is and why we have it.
