I turn over the engine, it sounds slightly different from usual, and I have noticed I cannot hear the fuel pump or relay when I turn the ignition on.. Could the fuel pump or relay be the problem ? Do you know where the relay is and what it looks like ? and if so could you tell me. Any tips on how I can test my therory? any help would be nice..

A senior judge said Reid's note had helped persuade him to free a man who downloaded pornographic images of children and might otherwise be jailed. "As of yesterday, I have to bear in mind a communication from the home secretary," Judge John Rogers told Mold Crown Court in North Wales as he gave Derek Williams, 46, a suspended sentence and released him. Politicians are not supposed to be involved in sentencing and the judge's decision to refer directly to Reid's views when freeing a convicted offender was seen as highly unusual.

Home Secretary John Reid has urged the courts to send only the most dangerous and persistent criminals to prison because of the lack of prison capacity, with only 317 places left in jail. This is "outrageous" sentences are being dictated by the prison capacity and not by the crime committed. Again the public is being put at risk by the failure of ministers. Offenders who should be sent to jail won't be, because the Government failed to address the lack of prison capacity. Why is this country so soft on people who commit serious crimes or the continua’s repeat offenders, who as soon as they get out of jail get back into crime again. Is it too cozy in Prison? With TV, games consoles and sports? Do you think Prison should be a place where offenders certainly wouldn’t want to return to? Should we make life much harder in the prisons? Give prisoners fewer rights? What about the rights of the public, (the people who vote these governments in office) to have a reduced crime rate and feel safer in our homes and on our streets?

Police have refused to release photographs of two escaped murderers, claiming it might breach their human rights. Killers Jason Croft and Michael Nixon are among 13 inmates to have absconded from Sudbury open jail in Derbyshire in the past two months. Despite the fact that only two have been caught - and that the killers are still on the loose - Derbyshire Police said the public do not have a right to know what the convicts look like. A spokesman for Derbyshire Police said: "When making a decision to release any photograph, police forces must take into account numerous factors including the public interest test. What do you think about this? What about the rights of the public and the victim's families? Does it seem that the rights of the criminals are more important than the rights of the victims?

I have golf 1.3, 1988. Causing me trouble is an intermittent fault with the engine spark. I could be driving along and suddenly the engine will stop, other times it wont start in the morning when it cold, sometimes I could stop the car for five mins when the engine is hot and it may not start again. Neither does it matter if the weather is wet or dry. I know what the problem is, but not the remedy. When this happens the car has no spark, so every time when this happens I disconnect the HT lead from the distributor and earth that end of the lead to the engine block. I leave the other end connected to the coil and turn the ignition key to see if there is a spark produced by the coil. (note I don't turn the engine over I just turn the ignition on and off) There could be none for a few mins or so and then usually I will see a spark and reconnect the lead to the distributor and the engine will fire up again. I have changed these parts individually to find out what the problem could be. The (ignition coil, the ignition switch, and the ignition module) (the one near to the windscreen motor). Sometime there is no problem for 2 or 3 days and suddenly its back again. I do have one idea left and that is it may be the ht lead itself the one from the coil to the distributor. Does anyone else have an idea; has anyone else had a similar problem and solved it?
