I'm trying to go to a community college first and major in mathematics, then transfer to a 4-year college or university. First, my parents and other people told me to become an accountant since I'm good at math, claiming that accountants earn good money. Now, they said accountants cannot get jobs in the next 10-20 years because we're so advanced in computers that computers can/will do the jobs that accountants can/will do. And people often/always tell me to become a nurse, saying that nurses can really earn huge money in a short amount of time without going to college. So what should I do? I really want to study/major in mathematics and get a job that's related to my major/mathematics and I don't like to become a nurse, I don't like to work in a hospital all my life. Besides accountant, what are some of the best/other career choices for college math majors?
