  • Is this a realistic goal for losing weight?

I am 15 years old, 5'2" and I weigh 138 pounds. My goal by the end of the summer is to lose 10 pounds (around there, maybe a little more if I can) and then by the end of 6 months I want to be at around 120 pounds, give or take. At the beginning of this school year I was at 150 and because of eating habits I've dropped 12 pounds but now it's getting harder so I started working out. (I've been kind of overweight my whole life so I decided to get in shape.) A few weeks ago, I started running in intervals on the treadmill. I run and walk for 40 minutes and then walk another 20 minutes at a high incline; by the end of this I burn around 420 calories. Following that I do 4 sets of 40 jumping jacks, then some squats, plank, and then 2-4 sets of 10 burpees. I do this 5-6 days a week. Will this be effective for losing the amount of weight I've set as a goal? Also, any tips would be greatly appreciated, as well as other workouts I can do that are effective.

  • What is taught in a school for the arts?

I'm writing a story where the main characters go to an arts school. I've written this story in 2012, and this is a rewrite, which I'm trying to make more realistic. I'm not artistically inclined so I've never even stepped foot into an arts school. I've tried googling this question, but I haven't gotten quite the right answers.

Which courses are taught at an arts school? Besides the arts, I mean. Math, English, etc.? Thank you to everyone who answers!

  • Does google chrome keep a screen copy of sites you've been to?

So, I know that there's "cached copies" of sites and I'm not talking about that when I mean copies of sites you've been on. I recently changed the password to one of my twitter accounts and I haven't verified the email to it (I know, stupid me). Now, for some reason I can't log into it. The password was hard, so I know that it wouldn't have been hacked. Also, no one could've made an email and reset the password because it was a difficult email as well. I vaguely remember the beginning of the email but the password hints that twitter give me only give you the email provider and the first two letters of the email. If google chrome keeps an actual copy of site pages you've been on (kind of like a screenshot), that would be of great help! Is there such thing?

  • What is a good title for what I'm writing?

I'm writing this story and I have a plot but I am having trouble thinking of a title. The summary is:

Robert O'Connor wasn't the ideal man. He wasn't perfect, he wasn't sane, he wasn't happy. But Fiona Adams just so happens to be his escape.

I then conclude it with, "that's the thing with addictions, isn't it? They make you think you're in heaven when all along, you've just gone straight to hell."

My options were either Escape or Addictions. Addictions, I think it's very cliche and stereotypical. I'm not quite sure about Escape either.

Robert got accused of a crime when it was all a misunderstanding a few years ago (still not settled on what happened) and that ruins his chances of excelling in life so he eventually works as a bartender. He meets Fiona there and they get closer and she makes him happy. But she thinks she does the opposite because he doesn't show it so she breaks up with him because she thinks that'll make him happy when it does the opposite.

    Any ideas?

  • What are good Jay-Z songs like these?

I really want to start listening to Jay-Z a lot more. But I'm not fond of all of his music. Don't send me hate replies, just my opinion, because I'm not into rap music this much. I like Jay-Z because he's powerful. Anyway, the songs I like are the stereotypical ones like Run This Town, 99 Problems, N*ggas In Paris, stuff like that. I like his new one, Holy Grail. I like ones with a powerful beat. What are some more songs like that? I don't know if he has any songs like Drake where it's a slow, talking vibe, but don't recommend me those because I hate that. Thank you in advance!

  • Is there any way to get free domain URL hosting?

I want to create a fanfiction site with my friend, but we can't find a server that will host our domain name.

We don't want to pay for it, at least right now. So, if there was any way we can get a free domain and domain URL, can anyone please notify me about it?

As well, we do not want to give out billing information. Even one where the end of the URL isn't .com is fine.

As long as we can use this: http://www.made-by-kali.com/2012/go-efiction-3-x-s...

  • What's a good title for this?

I thought of a story line. It's about this girl and she wants to write about love, but in a different form than normally. So, she writes about an intergalactic couple. But that's not the main part (the couple is one earthling and another from another planet so their love would never be able to last).

So, the girl's she could be working at a comic store, and this guy walks by it and sees her and he thinks she's pretty so he walks in. And so eventually, they'd end up dating but the guy isn't a fan of comics and he's high-class and he doesn't live in town. So, their love is almost like the comic the girl wrote.

I don't have a title for it. I want a kind of comic-book-y title. Like, sayings you'd find in comic books. Can anyone help me out?

  • Help with constructing a plot line?

I'm part of a fanfiction site (not saying which one, otherwise I'd surely get hate) and I thought of a story line, but not all is developed. I got it from listening to the songs Lucky by Jason Mraz and the song I'd Lie by Taylor Swift. It's about two best friends (boy and girl) who are super close and everyone in their high school assumes they're dating because of how close they are. They always deny it but soon they both separately realize that they're not just best friends.

Anyway, I'm using part of that, but I don't know how to end it. Right now I'm stuck at the part where they realize that they sort of love each other. I'd be so thankful if someone could help me think of a non-cliche and creative way to end it. Could anyone help me out?

  • What's a good title for this?

What's a good title for this story/book/whatever-you-want-to-call-it that I'm working on? It's about two best friends (boy and girl) who are super close. People in their high school suspect that they are in love, together and such and every time someone would ask them if they were together they'd deny it and say no. That is, until one day they realise that deep down they feel affection for the other but they continue to lie about their feelings. Not original at all, but I was in the mood for a puppy love story and it's for a fan fiction site.

    Can anyone help me out?

  • What's a word that means this?

What is a word that describes when you're denying something that's tue? Like the song Id Lie by Taylor Swift. "If you asked me if I loved him, I'd lie."

What's the proper word that defines that?

  • Is my concert seat decent at the Rogers Center?

I bought tickets to go see Justin Bieber live at the rogers center next Saturday, but my friend just got herself some floor tickets.

My seats are in 237. I know you can't compare that to floor tickets, but their pretty decent, right? I'd be able to see his figure and the jumbo screen?

  • What should I title this story?

I came up with a little story, based on a song I heard on the radio today. I won't say what song it was, or else a lot of people will claim that I have no sense of music and that's not what my question is about.

Basically, my story/book/whatever is that there was this jock, popular guy, typical highschool stuff. Every girl is in love with him, but he doesn't like any of them. But then, this eccentric girl, Waverly comes along and she's the only one he actually finds appealing. But she just give him a teasing smile and a flick of her hair, hence the fact that she doesn't like him. I know, it's not very developed or original, but I'm writing this for fun and I have no intension, whatsoever to publish it.

    What should I call it?

  • What should I write about?

I'm going to enter this contest where you have to write a short story based on a certain prompt and the three winners get a writing workshop with Maggie Stiefvater. I don't know what to write about, though.

    Here's the prompt:

Submit a story about two people who have become the way they are because of their close relationship with each other: either as best friends or worst enemies – or both. Write it in 500 words or less without using either the words “friend” or “enemy.

What should my entry be about?

  • What's a good username?

I have a twitter account and in honour of Taylor Swift's new CD, "Red" I want to change my username. I can't really think of anything to do with Taylor Swift that doesn't include any underscores or x's at the end.

    What are some good ideas?

  • What could I title my story?

I'm going to be writing this one-shot (one chapter story) for a contest and I need a title for it. It's about Autumn and it has to be based on one color. The colors are Purple, Blue, Red, Orange, Black and White. But I asked the contest holder if I could use all the colors and she said I could.

So, what I'm thinking it will be about it a boy and girl's relationship from beginning to end. Not like, they break up, but for the first little part, it would be red, where they'd fall in love and shows their affection for each other. And I want the second last to be Black or Blue where the boy has to leave for whatever reason. Then, the last would be orange, representing fall where he comes back (the orange would represent the atmosphere of fall).

I need a title, though. I was thinking of something like "Change of Seasons" which I could base on the song by Sweet Thing. But I want something really unique. What could I use?

  • Are there these scenes in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" movie?

I'm goin to be watching The Perks of Being a Wallflower with my friend on Friday and I was wondering if anyone saw it, if you could tell me what scenes are and aren't in it. Like, is the scene where Charlie finds his sister having sex in the basement in there? Or his dream about Sam near the beginning?

If anything, tell me WHICH erotic scenes are in there because I don't want it to be really awkward.
