Just curious cuz I just got through watching a couple of documentaries about cases in which elders have protected other elders who have molested children while disfellowshipping their victims, in one instance it was the elder who molested a young girl who was then allowed to disfellowship the girl. Or even if the elder does get disfellowshiped the elders never report his actions to the police and then he is still at large, free to abuse as many children as he wants outside of the congregation. One elder was made to admit in a court testimony that even if the elder is ostracized his crimes are kept secret within the congregation. In some cases the guilty elder is then reinstated while the victim is told to just "get over it." The corruption and cruelty I myself have witnessed and experienced in this religion is just haunting, it's why I left long ago. I can't understand why Jehovah God seems to tolerate the actions of men I'm supposed to believe He appointed for such powerful, responsible positions, and why they don't alert the police nor the public to the abuse committed by the predators in their midst. Are they afraid that doing so will reflect back on them and make them look bad? Or do they just don't care?

Met her from the "Christian" group I used to belong to, and though we hit it off at first, over time she would frequently scream at me and insult me despite often catching me already clearly in a low mood. Her husband, one of the respected leaders in the religion, would observe and say nothing and sometimes even participate. Although she and her family have done favors for me, it's apparent that I now owe them a lifetime of being verbally/ emotionally abused in return. The types of things this lady is capable of saying can tear up anyone's soul, but can drive any depressed person to suicide...and she seems to think nothing of it. For a long time I'd stay quiet for fear I might be the one who is accused of attacking a helpless elderly lady, but when I finally called her out on her cr*p she was able to engage the rest of her family in ganging up on me with her in vicious retaliation. I used to internalize her incredible nastiness and rationalize her abuse with old age, health problems, etc., but I finally gave her a heavy dose of her own medicine, vengefully telling her off while catching her sick, making her cry, showing no mercy. I was a volcano exploding. I couldn't have cared less if she dropped dead from a coronary/stroke right then and there. Although she and her family finally backed off I'm not sorry and won't cry if she dies or anything, which kinda scares me cuz this is out of character for me.

  • Is it possible for a minor to molest an adult (especially female on male?)?

For example I was watching this documentary about mass murderer Richard Ramirez who attempted to rape a woman at a hotel when he was 14 or 15 or something. But I'm also wondering if it's possible for an underaged girl to do this to a man. Just as a hypothethical example, a group of teen girls secretly drug a man to incapacitate him, and they get pregnant by him, and the excuse they give is, "Oh you look so close to being our age we didn't know you were an adult and besides you were giving us mixed signals so you sort of led us on, and besides if you tell on us we will tell the cops you're the one who forced yourself on us and nobody will believe you anyway" just to describe a hypothetical situation. Just wondering cuz this issue kinda confuses me. I'm not sure at what age a person who is still a minor is old enough to be held accountable for this type of act. This is a serious question so I ask for serious answers. All trolls will be blocked and their replies removed.

I'm just curious cuz most people I see dating seem to require that the relationship includes sex. I know it seems old-fashioned of me but I'm just kinda baffled by how no one seems to want to simply be grateful for the pleasure of each others' company anymore. Seems to me if they really loved each other they would wait until they're married to each other, and dating someone with no intention of marrying them seems cruel. Prioritizing sexual intimacy above love, respect and commitment, the foundation of a stable, lasting marriage, never felt right to me. Each time somebody who is interested in me or dating me discovers I don't wish to give them sex unless I'm married to them, they get offended and leave me for someone who will. It's very difficult for me to find someone who respects me and my needs or thinks as I do. Everybody just seems selfish and self-entitled nowadays. So just wondering if anyone has an opinion about the percentage of people who are in relationships who aren't having sex, who also believe sex should only be reserved for marriage, without their even necessarily being Christian, thanks.

I don't mean physically, or even verbal threats, but more through just telling somebody off on their page. Never was particularly crazy about social media sites, and I rarely even visit my own accounts, but sometimes, without really intending to, I catch myself typing the names of old enemies in searches and am usually shocked, at times delighted, to discover their channels and photos. Although it is only initially out of curiosity, and I never advocate being in the habit of tit-for-tat, it is only then that I find my opportunity to insult and humiliate them too delicious/overwhelming to resist. My father, who I disowned for horrifically abusing me when I was a kid, my former bullies, and a counselor who used to insult, ridicule and scream at me during session are among those I've done this to so far. The latter used to blame me for the domestic abuse my exes gave me and tried to attempt to force me to forgive my father and reconnect with him despite how much I tried to explain that he almost fatally brutalized me when I was little...which is why I relished calling him a short, fugly #$@&!! and felt like I could finally move on from this and heal. So just curious if others had a similar experience. Not at all encouraging making a practice of avenging past oppressors, whether physically or emotionally, only that I empathize with the need to give bullies a much needed taste of their own medicine within reason and if others sometimes find this as cathartic as I do.

An acquaintance of mine told me that a female friend was taking a shower at an elder's house and then as she came out of the stall he tried to do it with her; she cried, "What are you doing? Aren't you married?" and his only explanation was, "My wife doesn't satisfy me." His brother also said that he saw a married female JW "come out of a hotel with some young guy" and when he reported it to the elders, he was the one who was kicked out of the congregation, not the JW. One lady also reported to me that she was raped by an overseer and that to this day he's still an elder, and protected, whereas she was the one who was accused of lying. Whenever I try to report my own abuse, I too am always disbelieved and blamed. I can't see why despite what Judas did to Jesus, what Adam and Eve to us, that they think it's impossible for someone in the so-called Christian congregation to behave in an entirely non-Christian manner. Not saying I'm blaming Jehovah God for these people's actions but why does He seem to be letting them get away with it, for even some of them to remain elders etc., while their victims suffer?

Even though I respect that Anastasia is an adult woman with a right to choose whoever she dates and to have sex with whoever she wants, and that she in fact seemed to enjoy the weird things Christian did, I honestly still couldn't help feeling that if he genuinely loved and respected her, he wouldn't be doing all these degrading, humiliating things to her. I also felt it was a little disturbing that they were still doing them after they started having kids...is it really healthy for them to grow up witnessing their parents behave this way? Maybe this is just triggering for me cuz I'd be assaulted before and know others who have, which is way I can't approve of stuff that seems to normalize unhealthy relationships-one of Christian's other ex's even went crazy from it-but was just wondering what others think.

I felt like I was really doing it to please my other male friends that are in my own age group and to stop them from viciously harassing and ridiculing me. They always praise me and clap me on the back every time I get it over with and out of my way even though I always resent them afterward and never feel particularly triumphant about anything or proud of myself in any way. My last girl dumped me cuz she wanted it all the time and lost patience with me so she left me for a guy in his 40's who she told me pleases her like I never could. I know I'm not gay, I do find women, especially older women (milfs) attractive, and I know most people, esp. guys seem to think having sex is about as essential as having air, I just don't get down like that and most people don't seem to understand/respect that. So just wondering if anyone knows if I'm normal, or if any other guys in their 20's can relate, or if I'm just weird like that and should just own it thx
