I live in the North East of the UK where again we are experiencing lots of snow creating bad driving conditions.
I work as a sales rep so i have to drive fair distances most days, but i've been told by my manager that if i can't get to any calls because of the weather then i will have to get those calls done another time.
As we are only 4 days away from the end of this working period then that would be impossible for me to do.
What are my rights, if due to circumstances beyond my control i can't manage to get round to all my calls. I also want to make it clear that i will be making every effort to get out to do these calls.
Also i have just changed accounts but still work for the same company, yet last year when i was snowed in i got full pay without any question.6 AnswersSafety1 decade ago
I got my 2 cats together from the same litter and they are just coming up to a year old. Unfortunately one of them went missing over a week ago now and hasn't turned up even after lots of searching, posters being put out and vets rung up. (both cats are microchipped)
Both cats were close and played together alot, and since one has gone missing the other cat won't eat. I've changed his variety of food a few times but he turns his nose up at all of it. He does however eat treats and fresh chicken and ham. So is he pining or being fussy or could it be something else?1 AnswerCats1 decade ago
Me and my husband want to go on holiday in september but are not sure where to go. We were looking at Mexico but were told it's hurricane season then. We will be flying from UK and don't mind long haul flights. We want 4 or 5 star holiday that isn't over run with children. Any good reviews from somewhere you have been or know?9 AnswersOther - Destinations1 decade ago
We have been living over a bistro bar for a few months and apart from the weekend noise coming from there, we have had no problem. Tonight though they have a live band and we can hear it over our t.v even with it turned up loud. We are worried this maybe a regular event now. We have asked them nicely to turn it down, but it is still as loud.8 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade ago
We have overcrowded prisons, so we are now having to put prisoners on a prison ship. So why is this stupid government putting refugees who come over here stabbing and killing people into our prisons instead of deporting them back to their own country to be dealt with, instead of taking our taxes to pay for them. They'll be let out after doing less than half their sentence so they can kill somebody else. It makes my blood boil.22 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade ago
i am able to wiggle my ears (without the use of my hands, before i get wise cracks) i can even wiggle them one at a time. I seem to have inherited this from my dad. How is it though that i can do this yet loads of people can't? do i have an extra muscle?8 AnswersOther - Health & Beauty1 decade ago
I got stuck in a lift today when i was on my way down from a multi story car park to a shopping centre. It was a horrible lift and when i rang the bell and banged on the door i got no reply. After banging and ringing the bell in vain, i had to ring directory enquiries to get the number of the shopping centre so i could ring them to let me out. Eventually someone came to my rescue and opened the doors where i had to jump down because it was stuck between floors. Now i've got over it i find the whole situation quite funny.11 AnswersPsychology1 decade ago
