I've got to do an online test "by the 18th". Would you take that to mean I can do it tomorrow? Or does it have to be done before the 18th.2 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade ago
I've always been pretty damn unfit, exercise never being something that featured highly on my priorities. Recently however I decided to try a sort of experiment to see if exercising actually made me feel better like everyone seems to claim. So I planned to run every day (well, most days) for 7 weeks, and I've stuck to it fairly well, going out pretty much every weekday and either Saturday or Sunday, unless I absolutely can't be bothered. I've been doing it for 3 weeks-ish now and as far as I can tell it has made no difference to how I feel at all except I sometimes have sore legs. I run for pretty close to 2miles in the morning before work, which takes around 16-17 minutes, and maybe 4 miles at the weekend, which is about 35-40 minutes.
My question is basically, is this a good amount of exercise? And is it normal to feel totally the same as when I did literally no exercise? Although I've lost a few pounds which is nice. I'll probably persevere to see how I feel by the end, but at this rate I don't have much hope.
Also, running is really boring! How do people do it and not want to kill themselves? Even with music it's rubbish, because you're running and are too exhausted to listen properly.10 AnswersRunning1 decade ago
So yeah I'm having a James Bond watching session with a mate and we're going to watch every Bond film back to back, and since I can't be bothered to add up the length of each film, 10 points to the first person to do it for me. Awesome..4 AnswersMovies1 decade ago
My friend dared me to eat a whole jar (well nearly) of instant coffee. 100g, Nescafe Gold blend. I'm 19, and not some retard who does stupid things because I'm dared to; I just honestly don't know how bad it would be. Obviously it would taste disgusting as the experimental taste proved, and it's hardly healthy; but would there be any long term health risks.
And don't just answer "You'll die, bleurgh!"...
Preferably answers from a doctor/pharmacist/chemist.

Hey, anyone up for giving me a hand with some integration. I've got an exam later today :)
The problem is this:
Integrate (x^2) / (2x-3)
It looks easy and probably is, but I can't do it :'(
Also this one: tan^3 x
I have the answers, but not the solutions. The correct answers are for the first one: (x^2) / 4 + (3x) / 4 + (9/8).ln(2x-3)
And for the second one: 1/2.tan^2x + ln(cosx)2 AnswersMathematics1 decade ago
Why is oil found almost exclusively in the Gulf? Why should it have formed there better than anywhere else?
I know that oil is also found in the USA, Australia. The vast majority however is in the gulf- Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia etc. Why should this be? What conditions are required for the formation of oil?6 AnswersEarth Sciences & Geology1 decade ago
I'm 18 at the moment, and I want to learn to drive a motorbike. Is it true that at my age I can only ride a bike of a limited power? And what's all this about a CBT? And roughly how much does it cost for lessons?

I have been wondering this for a while, where did the Link character- of Legend of Zelda fame get his name from?
I know it fits well with the early titles- A Link to the Past, and Link's Awakening. I suspect it might be a throwback from the original Japanese name or something.2 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade ago
I don't have a TV, so I hooked up my PS3 to one of my computer monitors using a HDMI -> DVI cable. It works very well except for the small fact I overlooked - no sound. The monitor has DVI and VGA sockets, and obviously no speakers. I know I could use the optical out socket on the PS3, but I have no speakers with that attachment, and I'm not keen to spend big money on getting any.
