I need a good introductory book to Rallying - something for an intelligent adult that assumes no foreknowledge but explains how the sport is run, organised and perhaps some of the technical aspects too.
Thanks.3 AnswersOther - Auto Racing8 years ago
I have MP3 files of voice memos I have recorded and want software to convert these to text. I am using a MacBook Air 1.6 GHz Intel Core Duo with 4 Gb Ram and OS 10.6.8
Obviously I would prefer something cheap (or free) but am willing to spend a decent amount of money if necessary (up to about £200 / $300).

I am learning Nepali and want to watch some Nepali language films to help my skills. My level of Nepali is currently low so I'd need English subtitles.
Important points please:
1) I need these on DVD as my downloads are limited to 15 Gb per month.
2) I have a multi-region player so region is unimportant
3) Ideally I'd like a site that I can buy these from - accessible from the UK
Thank you!1 AnswerLanguages10 years ago
I am planning to take MRCP part one. Up to now I have been keen on a surgical career and have let my knowledge of medicine lapse a bit. How long do you think I need to study (at about 10 hours per week) to stand a good chance of passing?1 AnswerOther - General Health Care1 decade ago
I haven't done any programming except BASIC on the ZX81 about 25 years ago! Have just bought an iPhone 3G and want to make some simple Apps to use at work.
I would like a book that is suitable for the reasonably intelligent absolute beginner that will guide me though the initial stages of this type of programming.
Thanks! :)3 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade ago
