My friend and I, both have opposite sexed samis, mine is a girl and hers is a boy. In our area there is one sami breeder and she always sells out with in a week because they re crazy popular and much better for allergies. Yes, I know there are dogs in shelters but, in my area theres literally only 4 dogs in the shelter. My sami is from Croatia and hers is from Russia. We both bought them for 1,900 and hers was 2,100. Sams are very intelligent, gorgeous dogs. My mom used to breed goldens when she was a kid, she only bred her dog twice. My mom is very knowledgeable and is a nurse so knows lots. I live on a farm so the mother and pups would be used to animals, with a wide space to run and play. I think I will breed her once, unless it goes way way better than expected. Also yall got your dogs from somewhere, majority were breeders, and breeders are better than shelters, because you can see the genes, parents, the atmosphere they were raised in, temperament of the parents etc. Dogs are great from shelters, but theres usually health issues since a lot of them are cross bred. You do you, just want some opinions.
