  • What serious actions will we take against Global Warming?

    Hello good morning

The fate of the earth, by the Greenhouse effect, is like an enormous scale. We have human causes of global warming, and natural causes of global warming. We can make a difference, but take a guess which side is weighing the world down?

Scientists have been warning the government and the citizens of the world about the Greenhouse Effect, but no serious action is being taken. Yes, we have hybrid cars, but we still have pollution ones. There are over 600 million cars on the earth, and the numbers are growing every day.

I feel so scared and panicked about global warming, about how Earth is slowly spinning toward abolition, and we're pushing her along. There are ways to conserve and save, but how many people are going to stop using hairsprary, stop watching as much TV, and try to remember to turn off lights in unused rooms. Little things, but such tasks are trivial in our minds compared to, for example, shopping, playing video games, and so on. Simple, most humans like the way they live: modernly, and consequently, destructively. "Men do less than they ought, unless they do all the can." from Thomas Carlyle, is an excellent description

Just close yours eyes and think of a moment, what it must have been like to have lived in the time period where TVs, stereos, and phones were invented. everyone bought one, because advancing technology was good, right. The Industrial Revolution, where we made more cars, trains, and polluting items, had to be good, right. Well, then, if it was so good, why has global temperature been increasing ever since?

Don't worry about me i care about our earth

  • Why is america not listening to God?

Do you see what is happening, the 4 horsemen has just be release on earth. this is bad Pneumonic Plague is one of the worst plagues there is. If this is not contained and spreads a lot more deaths then just 2 will occure. how many signs does God have to show you before we see mankind is destroying the earth.. does Wormwood have to come before you realize it's one of the signs from heaven

Revelation 8:10,11. A great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers. The name of the star is Wormwood

    .Ezekiel 5:12

A third part of thee shall die with the Pestilence,

and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee:

and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee

and I will scatter a third part into all the winds,

and I will draw out a word after them

    Ezekiel 5:17

So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts,

    and they shall bereave thee;

    and PESTILENCE and blood shall pass through thee;

and I will bring the sword upon thee.

    I YHWH have spoken it.

(Daniel 9:27). This seven-year period of time is known as the “tribulation.” During the tribulation, there will be terrible wars, famines, plagues, and natural disasters. God will be pouring out His wrath against sin, evil, and wickedness. The tribulation will include the appearance of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, and the seven seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments.

Swine Flu in the bible check

    Plague in the bible check

    natural disasters in the check

    what is this telling you

please believe in climate change. yes we humans are responsible for what is happening to our earth today. don't blame me i am only worry about your concern. for some reason america is pretending nothing is happening to our earth. i hope i am not here when wormwood comes. hopefully i will be dead by then

  • Wen are we going to help the world?

The world is dying. The president isn't helping fast enough, to cut down on pollution a little. We don't care. Why? Why can't we stand up and try to save our world? It has givin us life and everything we need to live and mankind is killing it. Perhaps war between Mother nature and Mankind has begun. She won't stop with her fury unless we stop killing this world.

What do we do? I mean it's true, these disasters are getting stonger and more deadly. Global Warming is caused by us. do you care? what about your children and children's children and so on? Are you worried? I am. The polar bears are dying and have no place to live now beacuse the ice is melting...and because of the ice, the oceans will rise and perhaps flood our cities and home. I believe the world will die sooner that it would and should

Perhaps a petition or many letter or something to tell that president and the people that we should start acting now.We should love the world as much as the world loves us.

  • Could global warming be killing the polar bears?

    Hi'' Good morning

please spear a few minutes of your time reading this thanks

Rising temperatures due to global warming are threatening the entire Arctic ecosystem. Warmer temperatures means less pack ice - ice that polar bears depend on for hunting.

As their natural habitat gets warmer and decreases in size, the end result is fewer polar bears. For the polar bear, an irreplaceable symbol of the Arctic, climate change could lead to extinction. temperatures in the Arctic are rising at almost twice the rate as the rest of the world.

Since 1978, Arctic sea area ice has shrunk by more than 8% per decade.

Greenland's massive ice sheet holds enough melt water to raise sea level by approximately 23 feet (7 meters).Polar bears are the world's largest land based predators, but despite being on top of the food chain, they face threats from climate change they cannot overcome - unless we do something about it.

How can you help stop this before it's too late? Call on the US Government to protect the polar bear's habitat and slow the effects of global warming in america

Temperatures in the Arctic are rising at almost twice the rate of that of the rest of the world, and it is threatening to place the entire Arctic ecosystem in jeopardy. For the polar bear, an irreplaceable symbol of the Arctic, climate change could lead to their extinction.

The polar bear depends on sea ice to survive, hunting for seal until the ice disappears every summer. As climate warming reduces the extent of the pack ice, the polar bear loses precious hunting time, and the number of polar bears declines.

Polar bears are dying because sea ice is melting from global warming. Scientists think that 2/3 of all polar bears; including all in Alaska will be gone by 2050 due to losing 100% of their habitat. Global warming is causing the melting of sea ice and a decline in habitat and food, forcing the polar bears to swim farther distances than normal. The higher temperature is also causing the polar bears to overheat because of their layers of thick fur.

The US Department of Interior announced that the polar bear will be listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act on May 14, 2008, but the listing was filled with contradictions. for example, the administration signaled that it would take no steps under the Endangered Species Act to protect the polar bear from the massive oil and gas development currently planned in the very heart of its habitat. meaning thousands of polar bears will die drowning

Don't worry about me, i already donated $100 each month to WWF to help our environment. i just hope they give my the free polar bear Adoption. that's all. it will make me feel good, in time i am going to fight for those endangered polar bears to save lives

  • Are you worry about the Swine Flu?

World health organization has declared Swine Flu, as global pandemic and has warn it's 'unstoppable. now this being the worse news you had heard in a long time. with you stop being foolish. listen to what they are telling you before it's to late. don't you realize what is happening around the world. the 4 horsemen has been unleash here on earth

Yet only 56% of americans aren't worry about the Swine Flu, isn't this foolish of them

The UN's top health official has opened a forum in Mexico on combating swine flu by saying that the spread of the virus worldwide is now unstoppable.

World Health Organization head Margaret Chan added that the holding of the meeting in Cancun showed confidence in Mexico, which has been hard hit.

The WHO says most H1N1 cases are mild, with many people recovering unaided. As the summit opened, the UK alone was projecting more than 100,000 new cases of H1N1 a day by the end of the summer.

While Mexico in the northern hemisphere has seen swine flu cases decreased, the peak of the flu season is approaching in South America and some areas have declared a public health emergency.

Paraguay has reported its first fatality, while in Central America El Salvador has also recorded its first swine flu death.

    'Mild symptoms'

"As we see today, with well over 100 countries reporting cases, once a fully fit pandemic virus emerges, its further international spread is unstoppable," Dr Chan said in her opening remarks.

She stressed that the overwhelming majority of patients experienced mild symptoms and made a full recovery within a week, often in the absence of any form of medical treatment.

The exceptions, she said, were pregnant women and people with underlying health problems, who were at higher risk from complications from the virus and should be monitored if they fell ill.

"For a pandemic of moderate severity, this is one of our greatest challenges: helping people to understand when they do not need to worry, and when they do need to seek urgent care," Dr Chan said.

Turning to the summit venue, the WHO chief added: "Mexico is a safe, as well as a beautiful and warmly gracious, place to visit."

Leaders and experts from 50 countries are in Cancun for the two-day meeting to discuss strategies for combating the virus.

It has been more than two months since the initial alert over swine flu.

Since then, the H1N1 virus has entered more than 100 countries, infected more than 70,000 people and killed more than 300 worldwide.

Authorities across South America are becoming increasingly concerned as the peak flu season approaches.

Schools across Argentina have sent students home and pregnant women have been told they can take two weeks off work to avoid contracting the virus.

It is hoped the Cancun meeting will address many of the issues that might help slow the spread of swine flu but, our correspondent adds, many people are concerned that an effective vaccine has still not been developed
