WET REMOTE FIX?
I wiped my remote with a floor cleaner wipe (me thinking that the wipe would be safer rather than a drenched cloth if water and washing up liquid) but the detergent from the floor cleaner wipe has gone in the remote control and some of the buttons stopped working. I have put the remote (front of the remote down) on a radiator and it has already been on there on the heat for 12 hours.
I do not want to know other options such as opening the remote and cleaning inside etc..... because this is not possible at the moment.
So, there is floor cleaning liquid inside the remote, Not water as such.
What are the chances of the remote working again within a few hours? (It has already been on top of a hot radiator for 12 hours, I have not checked if it works yet because I do not want to put any power through it yet just invade it hasn't totally dried yet).
