Basically, in order to keep up with the rent, the food, the tv license the toilet paper supplys (haha), and of course the fact we love each other and get on fantastically, he suggested us renting a place together. This is something I've already thought about and would love to do. Me and my Mum have also had a chat about how i would like to move asap (when i start uni) and she doesnt seem to mind, although i haven't said who with... So anyway, how old were you when you moved out? Is 17/18 too young in your opinion? Obviously this isnt set in stone, but i dont think there is anything wrong with planning ahead!

I'm not stupid, and if I work hard I can achieve well, but the problem is I REALLY lack confidence and that makes me not want to try so hard, because I worry I will fail. Long story short, I know I could of done better at GCSE but I lacked the confidence, help and determination to do so. I'm 16 almost 17 and my boyfriend is 18 almost 19, we have known each other a very long time, and have been together over a year now. Our relationship is practically perfect except for one thing, I'm beginning to worry about money. I'm in first year 6th form and he has just left college, I have a summer job in a dentist that pays fairly well and after summer is finished I will go back to school to do my A levels. I'm saving most of the money I will have made by the end of the holidays, but that still leaves me a fair bit to play around with. My boyfriend however hasn't got a job and doesn't know what he is going to do after summer (A lot of his friends are leaving for uni or doing further courses and if not they have a job) and for some reason this is really stressing me out! He did apply for an apprentiship (with my help!) but other than that he hasn't applied for any other jobs, he also tried to get onto a college course but nobody got back to him about it, which I understand isn't his fault. He also has a skin condition which I know makes him VERY conscious about meeting new people, and even wearing a uniform with short sleeves, but I still feel he should make more of an effort to secure his future. Although he NEVER expects me to pay for anything for him, or help him out with money, I sometimes feel like it still puts a bit of a burden on me money wise, for example if we go to a party he can't always afford to bring money, but I feel it rude to turn up pretty much expecting to have drinks bought for you. (Even though he says he doesn't want other people paying for him, and he just wont drink that night) I love this boy to pieces, he is so kind and understanding, and he is willing to spend him last penny on me! I really do think I could stay with him, but I worry about our future and how we will ever be able to get a place together and live a comfortable lifestyle without him making any effort to ear his own money, or even go back to college for a while. I understand that we are only young, and that he has a lot of time to get himself sorted. I also sympathize with the fact he hasn't had it easy for MANY reasons I won't go into, but at the same time I feel their is no excuse for not even trying to get a job, and I hate the thought that other people will get the impression he expects things paid for him (especially my close friends and family!), and that everything should be handed to him on a plate, because thats not how life works! What am I meant to do? Am I overreacting because we are only young, or am I right to have these concerns? Should I try and aid him in looking for a job or is it not my responsibility? I really don't want to loose him over this, and I understand that money isn't everything, but no matter how much I love him I don't wanna be i a relationship were EITHER of us is dependent on the other. I'm an independent girl, always have been, and always will be. Sorry for the length! Thanks for reading :)

I have spent the entire day with her and her twin sister today, babysistting the pair of them, so I have obviously been in contact with the two of them (only before she started to throw up though) I'm freaking out that I'm gonna catch it from her, she is the only one in our house to have it yet, and the only twin infected, hersister seems to be okay for now! I am already frequently washing my hands, and have disinfected the surfaces and handles in my room, as well as my phone. But obviously they are little children, so they don't understand that they need to wash their hands often and to prevent it spreading, instead they just snotter and slobber anywhere they fancy! Is their anything else I can do to avoid catching it from her, I'm already panicking thinking I have mild stomach ache, aha. And what are my chances of catching it from her? Thanks.

Right, first thing's first, I'm 16 and my boyfriend is 19, we have been together for over a year now, and regardless of what people think I can safely say that I love him, well and truly. We have been through our fair deal of drama together, non of it either of our faults, and yet to this day we have never had an argument. (Not saying that we never well, but yanno!) I knew even before I was with him that I loved him, and we always seem to have had this sort of connection and relationship that nobody else can understand even when we were just friends. Nobody understands my stupid ways, and stubborn personality like he does! So here's the thing; today we were talking about something, and one way or another we got on the subject of marriage, and I ended up telling him that one day I would love to marry him, and I think that I will eventually. So he said 'what would you do if I proposed to you, right now?' and I said 'I would say yes, but we'd obviously have to wait like 10 years before we got married!'. Then we were just chatting about how old we would wanna be, and just future plans that we have already discussed if I'm honest. And then he said 'I want to make you a promise, I will have proposed to you by, if not on your 20th birthday'. I thought it was really sweet the way he wants to let me know that he really is serious about us, and thinks we will last, and as I said I would LOVE to marry him one day, and people may say we're too young and that we don't understand, but I truly feel he is my soul mate, and even if eventually it doesn't work out, I will always love him after everything we've been though! I'm really happy, and excited to see what the future has in store for the two of us, and today had truly been lovely, I cannot express how happy it has made me. ANYWAY! I have this guilty feeling that I am doing something wrong by loving him, because other people might not agree with it, and think we're too young and too stupid to know true love. Should I just forget about everyone else, I'm not planning to tell anyone (for those reasons) but it's really bugging me! Sorry for the length!
