  • Static caravan in a residential park?

We want to live in a static caravan on a residential park but are struggling finding any. Most parks only seem to offer 'park homes' which are very expensive and seem to cater mainly for 50+ semi retired people. We are in our early 40's and will occasionally have children visit. I've also heard that there is a law preventing people from having a static caravan as their main residence.

Any help, advice or useful links would be really appreciated.

  • Electric shower installation?

    Hi All

I need a new shower as my current one is on it's last legs. I don't want to risk fitting one myself for fear of blowing the house up and I believe showers should be fitted by a qualified tradesman in the UK. Do I need a plumber or electrician....or both?

  • Looking for help with a special gift for a friend?

I'm on a tight budget so my wonderful friend has offered me her second home in the lakes for a few days as we really need a break. She would be offended to take money so I was thinking I would buy her and her husband something nice...only I need some inspiration.

I've already got a few bottles of wine as they love their wine and I thought maybe some nice chocolates and flowers to go with the wine. Not very exciting I know, can anyone inspire me please?

I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

  • Looking for an Italian Chicken sizzle recipe?

I had a lovely Italian chicken salad a while ago and am looking for a recipe for something similar. The chicken was brought to the plate hot and sizzling. I think it was cooked in a tomato spicy paste rather than a sauce. Has anyone got any recipes or ideas?

  • what do you do when someone just wont listen?

I'm trying to help my sister. She is so unhappy with her husband and has asked him to leave, told him she doesnt love him etc.. on many occasions. The problem is he won't leave, and he knows she can't leave either, she has 2 children and pets and has a low paying job. If she were to leave she would have to accept council accomodation in another town and be away from her family and friends. She cannot buy him out of the house as she only has a low paying job.. and he wouldnt agree to it even if she could.. i cant understand him, if someone told me they didnt love me.. you wouldnt see me for dust.. any help would be most gratefully received
