    Red around my betta’s gill?

I got this betta around 2 weeks ago,and it had this red when it was at the pet shop however I didn’t take that much notice of it. Now that there is a better light in the tank I am seeing the red better. I am aware that this can be a result of high ammonia levels. But I do weekly water changes, scoop out extra food, the tank is filtered well, I treat the water and the tank has lots of plants. (It’s 20-22 litres).

The fish is a light colour so could it be just because of that or is it something I need to worry about?

How is my betta setup? ?

I’ve recently got this betta. I cycled the tank before getting it and put other fish in it before putting the betta in. I have a heater, and air stone, a filter, plants etc. The tank is 20-22 Litres. Any thing that you notice I have missed, or anything I could do to improve this?

Why is my balloon molly getting black spots?

I’ve done a small bit of research and some sources said mollies can change colour and they mature, but others have said that it’s “ammonia burning their skin”.

    I’m not sure what’s correct.

This is a photo of her, she used to only have one tiny black spot.

I purchased them a day ago, the other one looks like it’s pregnant (I think).

Is my balloon molly pregnant ? What do I need to do if she is?

I purchased two balloon Mollies yesterday and one of them is a little more fat than the other.

I am wondering if she is pregnant.

I’m not sure if she was with males at the store

This is a photo of her.
