• Converting to Islam? How do I tell my family & friends?

My family isn't religious, and my dad is extremely hateful towards muslims. (Although I don't live with him.) I don't know how to tell my family, and I'm scared of how my friends will react. Can anyone offer any advice? I'm a 16 year old Australian btw.
