• Does God resurrect some so He can turn around and throw them into the Lake of Fire as punishment for sins they committed BEFORE they died?

Are there scriptures that teach this as God’s perfect justice and punishment that meets the crime?

  • Why did apostle Paul write that those with the heavenly calling would be one with God and Christ?

Jehovah initiated a legal procedure to adopt them as his children. The apostle Paul, who belonged to that group, wrote to fellow believers: “You received a spirit of adoption as sons, by which spirit we cry out: ‘Abba, Father!’ The spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are God’s children.” (Romans 8:15, 16) Yes, through the process of... show more

The apostle Paul, who belonged to that group, wrote to fellow believers: “You received a spirit of adoption as sons, by which spirit we cry out: ‘Abba, Father!’ The spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are God’s children.” (Romans 8:15, 16) Yes, through the process of adoption, those Christians had become part of God’s family, or “children of God.”—1 John 3:1; 2 Corinthians 6:18. Of course, that adoption by God did not change the nature of the adoptees, for they remained imperfect. (1 John 1:8) Nevertheless, as Paul further explained, after the legal requirements for adoption had been met, they received a new status. At the same time, God’s spirit implanted in those adopted sons the conviction that they would live with Christ in heaven. (1 John 3:2) That unmistakable conviction caused by holy spirit gave them a whole new outlook on life. (2 Corinthians 1:21, 22) Yes, they experienced a new beginning—a new birth, as it were. Speaking about God’s adopted sons, the Bible states: “They will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.” (Revelation 20:6)God’s adopted sons will receive a place as kings in God’s Kingdom, or heavenly government. Peter told believers they would receive “an incorruptible and undefiled and unfading inheritance” that is “reserved in the heavens” for them. (1 Peter 1:3, 4) A precious inheritance indeed!

Those of you that love to read your Bible please tell me what do these scriptures mean? (Revelation 20:14, 15) And death and the Grave were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire. 15 Furthermore, whoever was not found written in the book of life was hurled into the lake of fire. How can God hurl death and the grave into the lake of fire? Unless it is just a symbol for everlasting destruction. 1Cor 15:21 For since death came through a man, resurrection of the dead also comes through a man. 22 For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each one in his own proper order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who belong to the Christ during his presence. 24 Next, the end, when he hands over the Kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. 25 For he must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet. 26 And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.

In the days of Jesus and his disciples the divine name very definitely appeared in copies of the Scriptures, both in Hebrew manuscripts and in Greek manuscripts. Did Jesus and his disciples use the divine name in speech and in writing? In view of Jesus’ condemnation of Pharisaic traditions (Mt 15:1-9), it would be highly unreasonable to conclude that Jesus and his disciples let Pharisaic ideas (such as are recorded in the Mishnah) govern them in this matter. Jesus’ own name means “Jehovah Is Salvation.” He stated: “I have come in the name of my Father” (Joh 5:43); he taught his followers to pray: “Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified” (Mt 6:9); his works, he said, were done “in the name of my Father” (Joh 10:25); and, in prayer on the night of his death, he said he had made his Father’s name manifest to his disciples and asked, “Holy Father, watch over them on account of your own name” (Joh 17:6, 11, 12, 26). In view of all of this, when Jesus quoted the Hebrew Scriptures or read from them he certainly used the divine name, Jehovah. (Compare Mt 4:4, 7, 10 with De 8:3; 6:16; 6:13; also Mt 22:37 with De 6:5; and Mt 22:44 with Ps 110:1; as well as Lu 4:16-21 with Isa 61:1, 2.) Logically, Jesus’ disciples, including the inspired writers of the Christian Greek Scriptures, would follow his example in this. ##### http://search.yahoo.com/r/_ylt=A0SO8zoFI... The scriptures explain - Jesus is referred to as "A God" only in the sense that He is only lower than Jehovah, as God has given him a name higher than any other angel or human. This does not make Him "Almighty God" because many things can be referred to as a God (EX. Satan is called the God of this system of things & men make anything a God when they put it before their service to Almighty God! - things like idols, money, etc.) Explain why Jesus would pray to himself if he were God. Why would he address his prayers to his Father if he were God? Are you saying he is crazy? Jesus warned that False Prophets would twist God's Word, like wolves in sheep's clothing. How do you know you are the ones that have not been deceived all these years? The Bible does not contradict its self, imperfect humans have twisted it's truth's and made it the way they want it so that they can receive followers, and glory for themselves...That is the Truth.....

Back in the 1990s they were increasing. Now evangelicals are increasing faster than WT. Perhaps the doorstep thing isnt doing it any more. Godsprob. I dont see the Jews as a cult. But I am waiting for our joyful reunion. In 2011, Pentecostals and Charismatic Christians numbered over 500 million, a quarter of the world's 2 billion Christians. Wikipedia It seems this is where so much of the new growth is taking place and considering that expression of faith is only 100 or so years old. The reason for their effectiveness is because of the emphasis on bring filled with the Holy Spirit, that life changing experience that stays with people.
