My boy girl twins are very close since they were born. I'm their dad and 59 now. They have the same personalities and interests. They are both gentle , compassionate , sensitive , quiet and they love each other very much and are inseparable since birth. They are literally identical(besides their gender) unlike most boy girl twins who are opposites. They look very similar too, and are almost identical in a weird way. But I'm ok with that.
We live in a very big house and have more than enough rooms. We also have a younger daughter and a son( the twins are the oldest), 15 and 14 who have their individual bedrooms. My boy girl twins doesn't seem to want to split and have separate bedrooms though. So we did not force them and it has been this way since their birth.
I told this to my friends and they freaked out like I just committed murder or something then give me a long lecture that incest is bad and blah blah. I don't know if they had sex or anything but I'm not going to probe or ask.
Am I wrong to do this? Honestly I couldn't care if my twins end up in a relationship , marriage or something ( btw they both never dated or had girlfriends and boyfriends) so long they are truly happy , I'm happy. Am I wrong? Why? We're a Chinese family btw.
I know what im doing is not widely accepted. I just don't find what I'm doing wrong. They are so happy together. Their twinship is so close I just couldn't bear to separate them. Just because some religious texts says its wrong. I just want to respect every ones choices. My wife agrees with me too. Any advice? Or opinions? Just curious what other people think.
