You are against homosexuality because it says so in the Bible, right?
Then you must be for the death penalty for homosexuals because it is in the Bible, right?
New International Version (NIV)
13 “‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
Some might say that we are no longer bound by the old laws, but it wouldn't be a sin to continue following them, would it? @Jim - It doesn't say in the Bible they should get professional help, it says they should be put to death. Why would you disobey God and do things your own way? Isn't that what non-believers do? @Cayder - Why do you ignore the last question? @ten - That's exactly my point, stop cherry picking. Don't you think we should implement all of those? @Dawn - Why do you conveniently ignore the last question too?
@ten - Nvm, I misunderstood you. It's directed at Christians, right? @Friztby - That's so disingenuous. They stoned people to death all the time in those days. Disobedient children, picking up sticks on the Sabbath, adultery, but for some reason this case is an exception for homosexuality? @Love has teeth - Ok, so you're saying that the death penalty is punishable by the death penalty, which is punishable by the death penalty, which is... @Love has teeth - In addition, you're saying that death penalty was ok in the old testament, but not ok in the new. But I thought morals were absolute? Or are they relative to time/era situation?
