These are a list of the tools of God's Armor: Ephesians 6:13-16 Therefore, put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Best answer: The Bible gives us no reason to believe that there is or could be human life OR alien life elsewhere in the universe - including other planets, stars, moons. In fact, the Bible gives us several reasons why we could not inhabit others areas of the universe. However, that has not stopped theologians, astronomers, and science fiction fans and writers through the years from contemplating the "what ifs" explicitly. The Bible stands as written, no matter what secular theories are advanced or discoveries are claimed. The Bible says the earth and mankind are unique in God's creation. God created the earth even before He created the sun, moon, or stars (Genesis 1). There is no reason, though, to attribute any information or literary works of the human race living anywhere but on the earth.

Find new friends. Make sure you get to know them IN PERSON first. Having only 'text buddies' or 'online friends' are not genuine friends. People can say anything they want on an electronic device. Most online so-called 'friends' say whatever they want and are typically selfish and rude. If you meet your friends in person, you will get to know them more intimately and be better able to judge whether or not they are sincere. And, no offense intended, but you might want to curb the crude language. No one wants to be friends with people who use coarse language in ordinary conversation.

If you are the adventurous type, you may want to learn to scuba dive, or attempt island kayaking, or try pursuing snow kiteboarding☆ or some other outdoor activity that you find interesting. Maybe you're more artistic. You could try your talents as an artisan using a variety of canvas with open weave as a basis for painting, tapestry or embroidery. Or you could take up photography (which might eventually take you around the world to some of the most exotic places on earth). How about digital multi-media - it is a very popular trendy activity right now. Or maybe graphic design would suit you. Maybe you enjoy social clubs. You could start your one of your own; there are many different types. For example, street cycling; you could find some people and put together a bike club which meets two or three times a week (these are very popular in the city I live in and they are everywhere). All of these could be fun and you could make some new friends participating in them.

Best answer: Scripture says that grace, the unearned favor of the Lord, is necessary "because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight" (Romans 3:20). The only way to receive God's saving grace is through faith in Christ: "But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested . . . the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe" (Romans 3:21-22). God promises to never forsake His children. Saving grace results in our sanctification, the process by which God conforms us to the image of Christ. At the moment of salvation, by grace through faith, God makes us new creatures (2 Corinthians 5:17). Salvation is God's work. He gives the grace we need. Our "saving grace" is Christ Himself. His work on the cross is what saves us, not our own merit.

Best answer: Jesus is not God's Son in the sense of a human father and a son. God did not get married and have a son. God did not mate with Mary and, together with her, produce a son. Jesus is God's Son in the sense that He is God made manifest in human form (John 1:1; John 14). Jesus is God's Son in that God chose the virgin Mary and Jesus was conceived in Mary by the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:35 declares, "The angel answered, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God'." To be the Son of God is to be of the same nature (inherent or essential qualities or character) as God. The Son of God is "of God". The bottom line is that terms such as "Father" and "Son", descriptive of God and Jesus, are human terms that help us understand the relationship between them. As Jesus clearly declares in the Bible, "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30).

Best answer: I strongly believe that many Christians have such a difficult time accepting homosexuality as 'respectable' in our society because in the beginning, when God first created human beings, NEVER ONCE did God ever say or condone, accept, or tolerate that men and women could have sexual relations with the same gender. God created males and females; to be together to procreate and to be as one - one body, one mind, one spirit - ONE relationship. In Genesis 1:27, it states, "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." There is no other variation OR distinction of what God intended for human beings to be, as far as being intimate and sexually unified. For those who follow Jesus, He views sexual conduct as God does. Rather than take a permissive view of sexual immorality and divorce, Jesus affirms that people are either to be single and celibate or married and faithful to one spouse of the opposite gender. Jesus considers any other expression of sexuality sinful, including same-sex activity. Whatever "inexorable urges" or any other permissive compulsions the homosexuals allow themselves to be, in today's society, heterosexuals are forced into accepting them and including them as equal members of society - regardless of how distressing and emotionally painful heterosexual human beings feel about it, including Christians. One last point. There is no such thing as "homophobia". It is the word that homosexuals taunt those who are literally and conscientiously troubled by homosexuality and all other 'sexual orientation'. NO person is "afraid" of anyone who is same-sex oriented.

Best answer: Premarital sex involves any kind of sexual contact prior to entering into a legal marriage relationship. There are a number of reasons why Scripture opposes this. God designed sex to be enjoyed within a committed marital relationship. To remove it from that context is to pervert its use and severely limit its enjoyment. Sexual contact involves a level of intimacy not experienced in any other human relationship. When God brought Adam and Eve together in marriage, He established the "one flesh" relationship. Genesis 2:24 tells us that a man will leave his family, join to his wife, and become "one flesh" with her. There are, in general, two contexts for premarital sex. There is the "we love each other and are committed to each other, but just don't want to wait to be married" sexual relationship, and there's "casual sex". The former is often rationalized with the idea that the couple will surely marry, so there's no sin in engaging in marital relations now. However, this shows impatience and disrespect to oneself, as well as to the other person. It removes the special nature of the relationship from its proper framework, which will erode the idea that there's a framework at all. If we accept this behaviour, it's not long before we'll regard ANY extra-marital sex as acceptable. To tell our prospective mate that they're worth waiting for strengthens the relationship and increases the commitment level.

Angels are spirit beings (Hebrews 1:14) without true physical bodies. Although they do not have physical bodies, they are still personalities. Because they are created beings, their knowledge is limited. This means they do not know all things as God does (Matthew 24:36). They do seem to have greater knowledge than humans, however, which may be due to three things. First, angels were created as an order of creatures higher than humans. Therefore, they innately possess greater knowledge. Second, angels study the Bible and the world more thoroughly than humans do and gain knowledge from it (James 2:19; Revelation 12:12). Third, angels gain knowledge through long observation of human activities. Unlike humans, angels do not have to study the past; they have experienced it. Therefore, they know how others have acted and reacted in situations and can predict with a greater degree of accuracy how we may act in similar circumstances.
