Best answer: Because most religions are conservative in nature. Most people at both far ends tend to take things more literally to the point of exaggeration, which is not good. Both ends lead to an impoverished dictatorship, leaving any society stripped of motivation and in poverty. The middle is actually the peak of goodness that serves societies the best, whereas the ends are the epitome of power, greed and selfishness. Something to consider however is that in the U.S., most of the citizens are religious, meaning the Democratic Party could not survive without the religious people who support their cause, meaning religious people can and do go far left but this is not as noticeable compared to an Evangelical.

It's seems the more you practice wit, that faster you become with those one liners that had everyone in stitches. Nobody ever considered the "importance" of wit other than losing the battle of wits when it came to ragging on each other. I suspect political correctness is partly to blame for the disappearance of wit where even our comedians rarely practice this anymore.

Best answer: I don't think Gods are possible if you really think about what we are asking. While it is easy to imagine Gods and assign what we perceive to be magical components of nature to these imagined Beings, the concept simply contradicts too many things we already know as well as violates the natural limits that all existence has by being "magical". Even if you gave life an eternity to grow more and more complex intelligence, there comes a point (a limit) that cannot be surpassed due to the limitations of reality. Gods are like Santa, they are fun to think about but it's still a fantasy.

Best answer: Usually because one side is being irrational and can't see good reasoning because of it. Another reason is out of competition where people in weaker positions get upset that certain people have an advantage over them and use it to keep others at a disadvantage.

Best answer: The processor and graphics card sort of go hand in hand, meaning if you put a 1080ti in a pc with a weak processor, the graphics card cannot reach it's full potential due to the cpu bottle necking. It is more important to have a good cpu upfront because it handles far more than just the graphics card depending on the software you run. While the I5 might bottleneck a 1050ti the cpu is dependent on the motherboard and ram, meaning certain cpu upgrades require a new motherboard and ram to go with it. If your motherboard already accepts the i5 and your question is which should be upgraded first or the most, it depends on what you are attempting to do and where the bottlenecking is occurring. If you find your cpu is maxed out at 100% and your graphics card only 25% on a particular task, then the cpu needs upgrading. If the cpu is running at 50% and the graphics card near 100%, then the graphics card needs upgrading.

Best answer: If you understand what defines a square and you understand what defines a circle, you should be able to "reason" why square circles cannot exist due to the contradicting definitions. If everything known to exist follows a natural order of growing in complexity over time and having natural limitations, it should be easy to reason why you cannot begin with the most complex, magical super Being "imaginable" that has no limitations. The contradictions should make this clear. If you are intelligent enough, you should be able to reason that there is human ignorance found in all holy books. When you look at personal experiences, you should be able to reason that people could just as easily assign magical fairies to those same experiences. Where the natural order has to be intelligence growing in complexity over time, God believers never bother to question a fully complete Intelligence that magically bypasses the steps of complexity and just always is where even ignoring this aspect, no one can define this "imagined" God without a slew of other contradictions to what we already know. This leads to contradictory questions such as can God create a rock so big that He cannot lift it, because like the square circle, there is a contradiction between qualities we assign where it cannot be both at the same time.

Best answer: When you have something important that sets the framing for your life, to have someone see things so drastically different implies somebody is wrong. Christianity or should I say Christians work backwards from your typical reasoning, they look for "reasons" to support what they want to believe rather than let "reasons" lead the way. How many times do Christians change the subject when they are losing to "good" reasoning? Many don't even want to have the debate because they are not interested in what actual reasoning has to say. As a result, many Christians struggle with their faith and want to learn what to do to get it back or strengthen it. When you struggle to maintain a reality that you want vs. the reality that is, that is a sign you are being irrational.

It is none of your business because it is a very personal matter. On such topics, the socially polite thing to do is let people bring up their own personal stories if they do want to talk about it instead of you infringing upon someone's personal life uninvited. This is not hateful, it's painful and that is the part you socially don't understand.

  • Say, when you're on your deathbed, are you going to repent just on the off-chance all this godstuff may be real?

Best answer: If a christian is not going to think of Zeus on their deathbed just in case, atheists are not going to think of any magical super Beings just in case. It would be like being in trouble and calling out for superman or batman to come save the day, those thoughts would never cross a rational person's mind.

It's not that there is more corruption, it's that due to this current political war with Trump, people like myself are beginning to see just how much corruption has always been there. We have witnessed the political biases of large corporations and the media where I don't believe anyone is truly aware of the agendas of the people actually running the show. The Democrats want to take away our freedoms with a promise to take care of us, which we know to be false. The Republicans were willing to let this country get to the state it is currently in, caring only about politics and not the actual citizens. A lot of this has been going on for years but quietly behind the scenes. Trump is the bear that poked the bee hive for all of us to see the dangers that lie ahead.

Best answer: Considering Chuck and Nancy have been for barriers in the past and the 5 billion for border security a reasonable request, it seems they decided to attempt to stick it to Trump because the wall was a campaign promise that they don't want to see him fulfill so that hopefully they can get rid of Trump. Politics has never been about what the American people want, which is why Trump was elected. Had politicians in the past actually represented average Americans, Trump would have been a joke and never won. As is stands, the joke is now on politicians on both sides as Trump does what he says and also throws political correctness out the window and gives us what we need, common sense. We know barriers work, that is why we still use them. We know a country without border is no country at all. We know our southern border is a huge security concern. There are democrats in congress who do support Trumps deal because it is common sense, especially because his last offer contains far more things the democrats have been seeking than any other President from either side as been willing to grant. The pure refusal of Nancy and Chuck will destroy the Democratic Party chances in 2020, where it will be known as the Socialist Party instead of the Common Sense Party. The Republican Party is not much better but they have Trump, which makes all the difference right now.

Best answer: Perhaps go to youtube and learn that the Democrats have alienated minorities to move to the right. This is why the Party wants illegal immigrants to replace those lost voters. That said, both Parties are actually not good but the Democratic Party as it stands right now is by far the greater evil of the two. So even people leaving the Democratic Party in droves are not necessarily for Republicans but because of Trump are the much better alternative right now. When Trump is no longer President, the Republican Party will most likely do as the Democratic Party and no longer support the average citizens. If we are lucky, Trump will give rise to a new political movement, where non-politicians who care and have common sense might run for office to take this country back from corrupt politicians. The true bigots are the Democratic Party and they resent average Americans who put Trump into office to drain the swamp from both sides. As it stands, the Democratic Party has the most to lose right now, to the point of becoming nonexistent thanks to it becoming the new Socialist Party that would destroy our Constitution if it could.
