Best answer: There's no such thing as a real god. All those god things are imaginary. I do think there's a problem with billions of people around the world who blindly follow the religious trappings of their family religion. For example Christians who follow Easter and Christmas traditions and decorate a tree! The old testament warns people not to decorate trees! Jeremiah 10:2-4: "Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not." (King James Version). Anyway, if people would actually read their 'holy books' many would become secular humanist and that would be wonderful! EDIT: Anonymous asker, "For all intents and purposes, if you don't know the real god, you don't follow a god, you follow your imagination." No, no that's not it - if you follow a god you are following your imagination!

I think you should go back to your doctor, (or a walk in clinic?) and start off by explaining, not too fast, that you are very worried and the pain is terrible. show more

So as others have explained, a blood test is given before each chemo treatment. If your white cell count is low, you may have to wait a week or more before you can have chemo. Otherwise your immune system will be seriously affected and the common cold will be extremely serious for you. Postponing chemo will not usually lead to death.

People in Western countries used to die from tuberculosis, and many kinds of infectious diseases. Now people live longer, so there is a much greater risk of our DNA going crazy, as we age. It's just like your printer, or anything else. She has a 6 month old printer and his is a year old and my printer is 3 years old. Which printer is likely to break first? People in third world countries are sometimes drinking dirty water and walking through garbage. So they are more likely to die young of an infectious disease, and not from cancer.

However, many still use the church for baptism, marriage and funerals. At the same time, few are worried about birth control, abortion, gay marriage or the right to die. For most, those things are not an issue. However, many still use their Christian heritage to criticize the wearing of turbans, hijabs and especially niqabs.

  • IS IT A SIN FOR CHRISTIAN WOMEN TO WORK OUT/BE MUSCULAR AND NOT SHAVE THEIR BODY HAIR?

Best answer: First of all, there's actually no such thing as sin. Sin is defined as a crime against gods or religion, and since gods don't exist, you can't sin. Secondly, I'm really concerned about all these women in the world removing their body hair. If a person is Christian, for example, surely they believe that their body hair is from god, so they should leave it alone? And if a person is in the atheist/humanist spectrum, then they believe that body hair and bushy eyebrows and so on are an evolutionary advantage, so they should leave the hair alone? Being muscular seems like a very good thing, regardless of your life stance.

Best answer: After I die, I hope the things I want while still living will continue. I hope their will be better living conditions for people, better salaries, clean air and water and a gradual reduction in population. I hope people will be better educated and that fewer and fewer people will believe in gods. As for an afterlife, it's mostly too impossible to imagine. This amazing life is the only life there is. When you are dead, it's like before you were conceived. No darkness. No light. No noise. No silence. No laughter. No tears. No awareness whatsoever. You will not know you are dead. You will not know you ever existed. There is nothing to fear. As a living person, you have 5 senses - sight, sound, smell, taste, touch. Your brain processes sensory input. Your brain remembers, rationalizes, questions, thinks! When you die, you cease to exist. You have no senses and no processor. So if somehow I don't cease to exist, what will I be without senses? "I" won't exist but be a bunch of magnetic impulses, in some sort of computer, all mingled together with other former peoples impulses? It might be horrific!
