    Best answer: just put some washing up liquid in a bottle of warm water then put an optic on the bottle and just keep pressing the optic as if it was full of booze when all of the soapy water has gone from the bottle remove the optic now put some more warm water into the bottle and put some sterilising agent such as milton tablets and let it dissolve put the optic back on to the bottle and repeat the first part now rinse out the bottle until all traces of the sterilising tablet and washing up liquid have gone and fill with cold water and then just empty the bottle through the optic and that is how to clean optics that have not been used for while then you only need to wash them ma by once every 3 to 4 years or if you decide to use the optic for another type of drink such as from brandy to vodka and that is how they are cleaned in pubs i know this as i have run 2 pubs

    Best answer: as these are all Professional chefs i would imagine extremely well and i would imagine that they have all worked with most methods of cooking i am a chef with a lot of years experience and the cooking mediums that i have worked with are gas coal charcoal halogen and induction hobs and the old fashioned electric hob and i can say that as for halogen and the induction hobs i am not a fan of them at all as they reach the heat that you want but then turn off not that good when you require heat at a constant temp at all times and with the induction hob you need to get new pans as they all work through magnets so your ceramic or aluminium etc will not work on these hobs nor will your Pyrex dishes as they hae to be steel iron or other metal that is attracted to magnets so no copper pans then
