We like to bleat on about "because science" but the truth of the matter is, any being who is powerful.enoufh to create all existence is well beyond the understand of us puny mortals They could be hiding in plain sight and we wouldn't know it. That doesn't mean I believe in God - as an atheist I don't, but it doesn't change the fact that perhaps I am.wrong and maybe the believers are right. Truth of the matter is, we just don't know one way or the other but it doesn't really matter anyway because athirst or believer, all that really matters is that we live our lives, be good people and love and care for each other. So that and you will always get the best out of like whether you're an atheist or a believer or a fence straddler or anything.

I've got no standards and no taste one way or the other. I am just not interested in dating anybody because the whole world is boring to me. There's not a single thing or person that I find interesting.

Everybody has enough space for a party. However, if you mean a party like you kids think is reality, with live bands and thousands of people - a la Hollywood highschool, parents are away party - then no, nobody has that kind of space. Everybody has room for a civilised dinner party though.

Hitler did not start the second world war - the old imperial powers did. After the first world war, the imperial powers forced Germany to pay out vast sums of money and confescated vast amounts of territory from Germany as well as imposing strict and tough trade imbargos. With very little money, vastly reduced territories and resources, Germany was virtually forced into bankruptcy and the German people began to suffer. It was the suffering of the people that allowed the "National Socialist German Workers' Party," with Hitler at its head to.come to power. Hitler wanted to restore Germany to prosperity and end the suffering of the people and so with all good intentions Germany went to war. You know the old saying though - "the road to hell is paved with good intentions." The war took on a life of its own and became something it was never meant to be. Excuses were made, the Jews became scapegoats and the rest is history but it was not Germany or Hitler that caused the war.

  • Agree or diaagree: the past isn’t relevant?

Largely I would agree. Relying on just on the past is a fools errand but the past can serve as a guide. By looking at what happened in the past and taking note of it, we can avoid making the same mistakes. In that regard, I disagree and would say the past is relivent indeed.

Therefore; once detained, they should be given the help and education they need to allow them.to legally enter the country as a legal immigrant. Those people who have taken all required steps and legally entered the country are not here illegally. They are legally entitled immigrants and they should receive all the help.and support they need to make a life for themselves in their new country. This may include wealfare. It may also include the provision of education, assistance in finding work and help to intergrate themselves into their chosen community.

Yes you can but a native speaker would drop the "o'clock" and just say "be there for 5" The reason for this is "o'clock" means "of the clock" and saying "be there for five of the clock" is rather formal in modern English
