  • Air Force Basic Training during the holidays?

1: time of year and weather has no bearing on your training. 2: T day is treated like Sunday, back to business as usual on Friday. Same with the 25th. 3: BMT is 8 weeks long. If you ship out in November you will not finish until the first of the year

forget it. PMCs are people who have done a decade or more in the military, and usually have combat experience. 3 years means you never even finished your first contract. you also need a degree.

  • Can you go to the army with a misdemeanor that been dismissed?

short answer: maybe. Long answer: as far as the military is concerned, you were convicted of possession because you had probation and fines. whether or not drug charges are being waived at this time, only a recruiter can answer. if it was several years ago and you have been a model citizen since, you may have a shot.

CWE is an entire universe apart and you NEED a butt ton of civilian skills and certs in hand before you are remotely eligible to submit a Packet. it is also a weird Designator in that by O3/O4 you are forced out or forced Lat transferred into IWO( although on occasion SWO and INTEL is an option.) for some reason they only want the youngsters who have all the latest training, rather than fund or provide that training themselves

  • Help!! Want to enlist but too many dependents?

Single parents may not enlist. You may not give up custody just to enlist, must a minimum of 12 months after giving it up and may not regain it while in your first contract4-6 years) Married you would have 3 dependents which is still too many for the Marines. The Army would not be a problem.
