Minecraft; A fatal error has occurred....?

Hey guys i have just bought Minecraft for the PC and when ever I login it loads and then closes leaving me with a note on my desktop

oh yeah thanks for the answers guys but i have tried them both at least 5 times and still no result. but thanks anyways guys

    No idea what happened but reinstall minecaft by following these steps.

    1.Backup any saves or texture packs in your .minecraft folder (go to search bar in windows seven or run in xp and type %appdata% and go to roaming and then .minecraft and copy your saves folder and your texture packs folder if you have any of those 2.
    2. Go back to the appdata page and delete the .minecraft folder.
    3. Launch minecraft and login and let it download all the packages again.
    4. Enjoy!

    Re install Java. Then it should work
