Pro Flight Simulator is what you are looking for. It works smoothly on mac You are looking for a real simulator, right? Because some people may prefer a simple "arcade game" version of a flight simulator. Before you can wholly appreciate a real flight simulator you need to learn the controls. If arcade style flying is what you want(there are hundreds of these), ProFlightSimulator may not be for you.

I've played a few different flight simulator games, but the best is ProFlightSimulator - good graphics and incredibly realistic gameplay make it the best one. If you have never played a flight simulator game before, it does take a bit of getting used to (although you could say that for any of them), and the set up guide for ProFlightSimulator is designed with beginners in mind. Best thing is if you think it sucks, just ask for your money back. Definitely gets my vote.
