Can i buy minecraft on the wii?

It will not let me on the minecraft.net page but the wii can so can you buy a minecraft account on the wii and play the account on the pc plz tell me

Lol!!! Its for pc/mac only, not made for xbox, ps3 or wii. Just bc its on the internet does not mean it can be played abywhere.

I'm sorry, but there's no plans to release Minecraft on the Wii... mostly because of development costs & the size restrictions (requiring ~800 Blocks. Wiiware limits is 320 Blocks).

There may be extra licensing restrictions for other systems outside XBox Live Arcade, which is currently in development.


If you buy the game from Minecraft.net, you only get a PC copy to play. You have to buy the game again if you want another version of the game (for a different platform).

I think i see what you are doing. Are you using the Internet channel and getting an account on there then yes it would work.
