Clothes Show Live NEC Birmingham UK????? Places to eat nearby?

i'm going to the show this year for the first time.
we got platinum tickets (the type with the goody bag) but we don't know if we are allowed to leave the nec and come back. if we are allowed are there any places to eat near by (within walking distance)? Is the food expensive in the NEC.

if possible can you tell the street it's on or postcode

the NEC is a huge complex but it's way out of the centre of Birmingham and there's nothing else around ... there will be some food outlets inside the hall, but yes you can also leave whichever halls the Clothes Show is in (they stamp your hand so you can get back in) to go to the other food outlets .. but you are stuck in the complex and there's nowhere else to go really ... there's plenty of them and a variety of food but they're not cheap ... at the exhibition I went to earlier this year I noticed that a lot of people who'd been there before had brought their own packed lunches with them

You are stuck on site - the NEC is enormous! Nearest thing is the airport or hotels or industrial units. Takes about half an hour to get into Birmingham from there. Food is expensive - all franchised stuff.

You are not stuck in the NEC.

Follow the signs to the train station. Then take the free rail link which runs every two minutes to Birmingham International Airport.

Once in the Airport they have a large food hall which is reasonable priced and will be probably be less crowded that the show ground.

A real Italian Cafe and a Shop are further along past departures on the first floow. You even get to watch the planes.

It should take you no more that ten minutes to get from the NEC to the AIrport.

    Hope this helps.

    Enjoy the show!
