Approximately £65.

I worked this out if you were traveling in the middle of the day, obviously time of travel can really affect the cost.

This would be a very slow journey as well as an expensive one by cab due to London's terrible traffic congestion. I'd advise you to take a First Capital Connect train from Elstree and Borehamwood Station to St Pancras and then the Underground Victoria Line

There are two types of cabs in London: black cabs, which have a meter and will be charged using a combination of mile/minute; and minicabs, which are regular cars or SUVs, where you agree the price with the driver or booking office before you set off. Black cabs will be much more expensive, probably between £65 and £80, minicabs probably around £40 but negotiable.

Both will be slow and I'd recommend you get the train from Borehamwood - the First Capital Connect service goes from there and is the only national rail service that goes all the way through London and out the other side. You could get the train to central London and get a cab the rest of the way from there or change to other rail or tube services.
