Do you think Plymouth is a good place where study English? (I'm 15 and I'm Italian..)?

Question

This summer I would like to spend some weeks in england to attend a course to improve my english.
I found a good Italian organisation which have summer programs abroad in England.
I would like to go to a city small (not too much) and lively where I could learn about British culture.
I was thinking about Plymouth.. What is your advice?

Which CITY DO YOU THINK IS THE BEST FOR ME? WHY?

Plymouth is an ok city, it's not too big. It's fairly culturally diverse so you shouldn't have any problems integrating.

They are all nice places,

Hastings has always been thought of as upmarket and it is near enough to Brighton which is more of a holiday resort but is interesting to visit and of course you can always go to London for a day trip by train whilst you are there.

Try and be near some one else who is from Italy too. Then you can have a short time to relax speaking your own language with one another.

The best way to learn another language is to be among the natives and you are fortunate indeed to have the opportunity 00

Eastbourne or Bournemouth would be best (Do not go to Hastings. There have been some attacks on foreign language students there)

Bournemouth is overcrowded with foreign students
Hastings and Eastbourne are nearer London
