As you have posed this question from the UK, you may well have problems unless you have a tri-band 'phone as the Canadian system is incompatible with the vast majority of 'phones for the European market.In which case you should go to your local "Vodafone" shop and ask them if if your 'phone is compatible with the Canadian system (800MHz / 1,900MHz digital and 800MHz analogue), most European phones are 900MHz and 1800MHz frequencies.If they say YES, then the following charges apply:
Making a call £1.25 per minute or part thereof
Receiving a call 99p per minute or part thereof
Texts - 35p
The network your 'phone will pick up will be Rogers Wireless if it is compatible.
