Student Wanting to Vist America?

Question

I want to vist America for a few months to see what its like then mabey consider staying for Uni or futher education

See i dont know were to go what I want is a place were the people are friendly and sociable plenty teenagers and a night life

I was thinking California but im told its far to expensive to live and is rough

well im perfect to answer this. im 18 in california, im american. california is pretty expensive but you will have almost twice as much money coming over because of our horrible exchange rate. i live in southern california, im from orange county which i reallllly expensive. id suggest staying away from san francisco too. maybe try san diego, its where i live now, its not as expensive and its sunny about 363 days year and the beach is about 10 minutes away. people party alot here but as u know the drinking age is 21 but everyone does it anyways, just dont get caught. its not rough here haha, only compton and other parts of LA are pretty dangerous cuz of gangs. people move fast and are very competitive, they want the american dream right.
lol i have family in portland, it sux, boring as hell, cold and rains all the time.

Portland Oregon is your answer. Good colleges, good weather year round, lots of friendly people and can be inexpensive if you watch where you live and how you spend your free time. Lots of friendly teenagers as well. Check out this website to see if this may fit your wants and needs

i'd go to huntington connecticut for yale!!!! or new haven(where yale is). its beautiful!!!!
