Bishop's Cleeve is in the Tewksbury District of Gloucestershire. I don't know the village but I know a bit about the Tewksbury area.
It enjoys a mild maritime climate. The winter temperatures rarely drop much below freezing at night in the winter. Snow cannot be guaranteed each winter.
The temperatures rarely go above 28.0C in summer. A classic summer would be a couple of warm days, followed by thunderstorms.
There are no killer hurricanes or tornados like USA.
It's a large village. The nearest town is Tewksbury (very nice). People are friendlier in villages than towns.
There is no railway or subway (we call them underground railways). The nearest airport is probably Bristol. There are schools.
It always takes a little time to adapt to living in a new place. It took my family two years to adapt to our present area. However, you will find you can "fit-in". Make sure you don't make unfavourable comparisons between your current location and your new one. Think how you would like visitors to your own home to behave and you'll be fine!
