Would You rather live in The UK or America?

I am an American, and I'm 15, and never been out of this country. I've always always wanted to live the United Kingdom (Maybe Cardiff?) and am even trying to save to do a student exchange program next summer. I was just wondering, if you live in the UK, would you rather live there or in the US? If you'd rather live in the US, where would you want to live? If you'd rather live in the UK, where you live now, and where you would like to live inside that country.

I'm from New Jersey (If you ever come to the US, don't touch that state with a ten foot pole, its the last place you'd ever want to live. eh, well maybe texas would be worse) and I want to live in the UK because I love geography of Wales and Scotland, and the history of England. I like the better religious tolerance, and the more new world attitude. I love the foggy rainy weather (I know, little weird, but you haven't ever been to los vegas, where I got 3rd degree burns on my feet from walking across sidewalk barefoot in 116 degree weather) and I perfer the use of the metric system and the more economical cars and greener ways of thinking. And of course, the accent.

Additional Details

More reasons I want to live there: free health care, more beaches, greater use of public transportation, the smaller homes and cars, the interesting monarchy and government, the famous British humor and wit, and ability to travel to countries like france, germany, and spain with much greater ease, the better vocabulary, etc.

To the first answer:

Two or three weeks? When in school we go 180 days a year and we get off for winter break, spring break, and thanksgiving (A god awful holiday I would love to be rid of) but once you work full time, you get 3 sick days the first year, and no vacation, and the next year you get one week off. No one gets three. Ever.

One thing I am concerned about is how small the UK is... thats something I'd probably never get used to, considering it takes two weeks to drive across America.

i of course would rather live in the UK its so diverse and easy to get to place to the other (if you want a weekend get away) and you can be in paris, amsterdam, barcelona, rome roughly within 2 hours. our health care isn't the best in the world considering everyone is getting for free but its good and just in case people don't like it, we do also have private health care ( thats pretty much the same as the U.S). our history here is amazing just our monarchy alone has so much, yes america is a new country but that doesn't mean you don't already have history that has impacted the world. of all places in the UK why cardiff, its a bit rough.
