You best bet is to walk to the city centre. Say your stand outside the kop looking towards the pub opposite. Turn right and walk along the main road keep continuing to your left. You will find lots of people walking with you. You will reach a flyover continue walking over it until you get to the mersey tunnel. Go to Paradise street bus station and get the 86A or the 80A. These are local bus services that will take you straight to the airport. The last bus is about 10 past midnight. If you really want to save money ask for a student fare, cost 1.50.

Traffic will be dreadful - it always is after the match so even taxis will take some time. My advice would be to take the Soccerbus (50p) (goes from the corner of Stanley Park) to Sandhills station and take the train to Liverpool South Parkway where you can get the shuttle bus number 86 to the airport.
There are a couple of hotels at the airport now so you might be able to hang around the lobby of them for a bit until the concierce throws you out :)

You could walk into town along Scotland Road and then hang around in the city centre for a few hours, more pleasant than the airport. You could then get an 82 bus to Speke, get off at Western Avenue just before Central Avenue then walk to the airport from there (about 15 mins).

After the match you could walk from Anfield to Queens Drive (anyone will direct you) about 10 min walk. You could then get the 81 bus to Speke (£1.50) and ask the driver to put you off at the best stop for the airport (about 15 min walk)

The number 86 takes ya from Anfield to the airport. I do believe the 80a also takes ya between the two places. Peace and love! Be lucky! :)
