Liverpool One is the new shopping complex, near the docks. It is a shopping area, not a mall.
It's twenty minutes walk from Lime Street rail station and Norton Street coach station.
There are buses which go to the new travel exchange (aka a bus station ) next to Liverpool 1.
Turned out a treat. It's multi-level, with an outdoor escalator on the street, stairs, escalators and lifts inside, and has shops, restuarants, cinema, loads to do.
Here is the Liverpool1 website

If you are on Merseyrail you can get off at Liverpool Central or Moorfields which will save a few minutes walk.
Liverpool Central is right in the normal shopping district and is good for the Clayton Square shopping mall and several others.
If you're on the main line train it's hardly worth the bother of going down to the Metro and waiting for another train. Quicker just to walk down past Liverpool Central anyway, which is only a few minutes from Lime Street.
Or walk along Lime Street a bit, get to Hanover Street and walk down there. It's quite a pleasant road.
Liverpool shopping and other bits on these. Liverpool 1 location is explained with a map. It's between Hanover Street, James Street/ Strand area. Lime Street is top right of the map, up Hanover Street.
Canning Dock is just over the road.(Strand)
