Hotels near Surat Thani airport for one night only?

Question

We will be flying into Surat Thani at about 8pm in December and need to find a reasonable hotel to do a single night stay over before we go on our way the next day... Any body any ideas?

you could try wang tai hotel - I stayed there one night before trip to Samui a couple of years ago - cheap , clean friendly staff - best price I got is with sawadee.hotels - less than 1000 Baht for double room

I also stayed at the Wang Tai Hotel and it's pretty good place and only about 800 baht for the room.
