Can I trust Aer Lingus flight company? Has anyone had previous experience with them?

Question

They offer pretty cheap flights, but I wonder if it is not a scam or sth like that.. Does anyone had any business with them?? That would be a tremendous help :)

Aer Lingus are the national carrier of the Republic of Ireland. they have been in business for a great many years. If you go to the following website you will see that Aer Lingus has a three star rating out of a possible five. they are in good company with most US airlines and quite a few others from round the world. You can look at the airline ranking in detail and read passenger's comments about their experiences. Do take these with a small pinch of salt as many people only make comments about their bad experiences. I would not hesitate to travel Aer Lingus.

Aer lingus is irelands national carrier so yes their trustworthy.

Aer Lingus are a very reputable airline. When I flew with them this summer (Gatwick to Malaga in case you're interested), the service was excellent. Especially notable was the fact that there was no queue at all to check in at Gatwick (I've waited literally hours with the likes of Easyjet) and they let me check my bags in nearly 3 hours early, as soon as I arrived at the airport.

Yes. Aer Lingus are a great airline, they are Ireland's National Carrier.

Aer Lingus are the best of irish aviation unlike ryanair who most irish pilots want to go.
Aer Lingus are a very good airline with a delay average of only 65% considering the average 80% to factor this is really good.
I have flown with aer lingus on various occasions on one flight was upgraded to first class because airline procedure at the time meant family or relatives of the crew get automatic first class upgrade if tickets are available im not sure if this still stands but back then you had a 60% chance of getting upgraded to first class because so many reasons existed such as
Family or relative of any member of crew
overbooking
early check-in on flight delayed more than 60 mins
boarding early on aircraft with first class tickets available(if you are living in city of departure/arrival)
They also have online check-in from 24 hours before departure.
I would reccomend aer lingus and advise you to stay away from ryanair(irelands shame in aviation)
